CharIN is the leading global association, dedicated to promoting standards in the field of battery charging for EVs for all modes of transport on land, water and in the air.

CharIN integrates seamless interaction between all type of EVs, Chargers, Renewables and the Grid, with the aim of significantly reducing carbon emissions worldwide.

Our sustainability goals for 2025:

  1.  Accelerate global adoption of electric vehicles (EVs)—including two- and three-wheelers, passenger cars, mining equipment, marine vessels and E-planes—by implementing interoperable charging standards like CCS and MCS, which will cut CO2 emissions and advance climate-neutral transportation worldwide.
  2. Design and Certify standardized, reliable, and user-friendly charging solutions to streamline EV infrastructure, reduce costs, and enhance sustainable urban mobility.
  3. Support climate-neutral cities by scaling EV charging infrastructure, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 to create inclusive, safe, and resilient urban environments.
