Overview

Climate disclosures in the financial sector can sometimes feel like chasing a moving target. Regulators in APAC understand the need for increased disclosure and are implementing new regulations and mandating disclosure in line with TCFD. This session will discuss emerging requirements and expectations around the scope and quality of climate disclosures in the region.

Learnings

  • Understand how TCFD climate disclosure can add value to your organization
  • Learn about the investors’ perspective on the importance of climate disclosure
  • Hear the latest good practice examples of climate disclosure from Asia Pacific
  • Get information on how your organization can take the next step in your climate disclosure journey

Post Event Actions

  • Ask whether your company prepared and disclosed on its climate change strategy
  • Look at your own personal investments to see whether your portfolio contains climate resilient companies
  • Ask questions of companies your work with – customer and suppliers – how resilient they are to the effects of climate change
