She mainly manages the key advocacy programmes undertaken by the Team, with diverse experiences on environmental sustainability, sustainability performances benchmarking, sustainability assessment, waste and recycling advisory, green procurement, carbon reduction, etc.

Ms. Jane Tong is the Co-founder and Managing Director of renowned sofa brand GIORMANI. GIORMANI was established in 1999 and has obtained more than 20 significant awards and recognitions. GIORMANI stores are all over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. GIORMANI also develops overseas markets through an international brand named “KELVIN GIORMANI”, exporting high-end custom-made sofas to over 20 countries worldwide; and it has set up showrooms in Hong Kong and more than 60 other cities.

Ms. Tong is the Executive Vice Chairman, Secretary General of The Hong Kong Furniture and Decoration Trade Association. She is also one of the committee members of Retail Industry Training Advisory Committee of Qualifications Framework, the HKSAR, and VTC Retail Trade Training Board. Furniture and Fixtures Industry Committee of the Chinese Manufactures’ Association of Hong Kong. Committee of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (Hong Kong Furniture Industry Council), SME Sustainability Society Committee and Treasurer and Membership Affair. Ms. Tong was also invited to be professional judging panel or mentor for different tertiary educational projects, e.g. HKDI, VTC, etc., to support and nurture the new generation of furniture industry.

Sophie is a principal consultant at RESET Carbon. She has over a decade of experience in dealing with supply chain issues. She works with RESET senior management team on corporate growth strategy and develop and head up the SBTi practice within the Hong Kong business.

Before joining RESET Carbon, Sophie was the Head of Sustainability & Sourcing at a French lingerie company, where she led the development and execution of the brand’s sustainability and sourcing strategies. Prior to this Sophie spent a decade at the iconic American retailer, Target, transforming them into an industry leader. She spearheaded their public facing water strategy and played an instrumental role across their fabric development, supply chain and responsible sourcing teams.

Sophie specializes in leading continuous performance improvement programs which adhere to corporates’ environmental strategy. By partnering with external parties in China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India, she successfully enabled more than 130 apparel factories and fabric mills to reduce their environmental footprint.
