Leading private and social enterprises for over 25 years in multilateral, culturally diverse environments, Virginia is passionate about bringing to life innovations that impact our society.

Virginia has a demonstrated track record of securing strategic partnerships between corporations, governments, and non-profits to deliver on social impact projects. She started her career in telecommunications, building satellites, and the distribution of free-to-air television across 60 countries in Asia.

Seeing the uptake firsthand, Virginia focused on education, believing that investing in people is the key driver for impactful change. Bringing together diversity and crossing cultural divides is a pathway to create Shared Value in our world, aligning purpose with profit.

After serving on the board of several educational institutions, Virginia is now a member of the Board of Directors of the Adecco Group Foundation in Switzerland a social innovation lab, incubating and accelerating new solutions in the world of work.

Francois-Xavier is Head of Strategic Growth, Collaboration, and Sustainability for HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking in Hong Kong. He is driving the ESG ambition in HK, which is to partner and equip with the local communities to create a sustainable impact.

To raise customer awareness on the sustainability agenda and to help them to understand their sustainability impacts.

Being a Gen-Y and a father of two, Garrick is aspired to bring happiness and fulfilment to the future generations. He believes it is fundamental for every individual and business to do good and create shared values for the community.

His experience covers social innovation, sustainability, change management and intrapreneurship, hospitality and real estate asset management, and youth development.

He currently works at a private conglomerate to integrate sustainability across the value chain of operations, targeting to demonstrate and advocate the Creating Shared Value (CSV) model to all business streams.

My Sustainability Goals for 2022:

To encourage more businesses to incorporate social impact measurement to enhance transparency.

Accountability is paramount when it comes to doing good and creating shared values to all.

Share for Good, New World Development

Jennifer is a change-maker who believes Creating Shared Value (CSV) is the new business future. She drives the launch of Share for Good platform, which is the first large-scale crowd donation platform in Hong Kong, matching donors with the urgent needs of local communities online and facilitating safe and efficient delivery of supplies to all those in need. She is also responsible to drive social innovation projects within and beyond New World Group.

Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in the fields of strategy and marketing and continues to promote purposes in various business projects. Prior to her current role, she has worked in Taiwan, Singapore, UK and Ethiopia being the regional head of property strategy at a listed conglomerate; head of strategy at a global apparel company; and various strategy roles in real estate, energy and communications industries.

Jennifer earned her bachelor degree in Journalism and Communications at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and her MBA at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

My Sustainability Goals for 2022:

Leveraging scalability to maximize charitable efforts through strategic partnerships, in order to achieve sustainability goals and improve the well-being as well as quality of education for beneficiaries.
