Fireside Chat: Human Resources as the Agent of Sustainability

Day 2 - 6th Oct | 12:10 - 12:40

Location: Sustainable Communities Theatre

People & Purpose

Overview

Sustainability is about the “S” as much as it is about the “E”. How are leading organisations making changes to better promote wellbeing, DEI and the alignment of purpose in a way that brings along all employees?

Learnings

  • What is the state of play in Hong Kong?
  • What are some opportunities and challenges faced by HR professionals in keeping pace with shifting generational priorities and developing value-driven enterprises?
  • In today’s business world, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has power far beyond buzzwords. In addition to being the right thing to do from a moral perspective, there is also a compelling business case for launching DEI programmes in our workplace.

Post Event Actions

  • Rethink how HR professionals can better work with the wider organisation to create cultures of integrity, DEI and sustainability.
