Jamie Allen is the founding Secretary General of the Asian Corporate Governance Association, an independent membership association carrying out original research, advocacy and education on corporate governance in Asia since 1999.

Philo Alto (李家仁) is the founder of Asia Value Advisors (AVA), a purpose-driven philanthropic capital advisory firm based in Hong Kong. Through bespoke advisory services, convening, and research, AVA seeks to inform and inspire individuals and organisations to create sustainable impacts.

His work included advising The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust on program curation for its inaugural Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum in 2016 with 60 globally-renowned speakers and attracting over 1,300 delegates; convening an impact investing forum with the Rockefeller Foundation to grow impact investing in Asia; and, hosting a Foundation Philanthropy Roundtable to explore what’s next in creating sustainable value.

Philo has also co-authored two publications: Mind the Gap: Lessons and Findings from EngageHK and Adopting the London Principles: Policy Considerations to Grow Impact Investing in HK.  His work has been cited in books such as Problem Solving: HBS Alumni Making a Difference in the World (2019) and The Power of Impact Investing.

Philo received his MBA and MPA from Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. He was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs and Citibank prior to founding AVA. Among his voluntary engagements include serving as a board chairman of the Harvard Club of Hong Kong Education Fund, an advisor to Sustainable Finance Initiative, Social Ventures Hong Kong and Shared Value Initiative Hong Kong, and an officer of the HBS Association of Hong Kong. He also serves as a global editor advisory board of Impact Entrepreneur magazine (US) and the Alliance magazine (UK).

An Indian by descent, Hong Kong-born and raised Jeffrey Andrews is one of the first ethnic minority registered social workers in Hong Kong. Committed to helping refugees and minority rights, in 2014 he travelled to the United Nations in Geneva to speak about the issues of segregated schools. He has been featured in numerous documentaries, news articles, TV programmes. He has received The Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation awarded in recognition of his dedicated service and outstanding contributions to the enhancement of racial harmony and integration to Hong Kong. Recently been selected as 2019 JCI Top Outstanding young persons and also 2019 Cathay Pacific’s Change Makers award and his beloved football team Manchester United recognised him as one of 7 Global heroes. He has been with Christian Action’s Centre for refugees for 11 years as a social worker and now assistant manager.

Promote understanding and action in addressing systemic racism for advancements through community led initiatives within the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework.

Pushing diversity and inclusion practices at the heart of racial equity through engaging different sectors of society to Integrate the elimination of Systemic Racism, and highlight racial and ethnic discrimination, in order to bring about change to corporate and community responsibility and continuing to provide platform for dialogues, racial and cultural bridging initiatives.

Swati Bani, an experienced finance professional, is passionate about solving most challenging social problems and helps social enterprises to reach their full potential and scale their social impact by leveraging her experience and skills.

Entela is the CEO and Co-founder of Intensel Limited, an AI-powered climate science for predicting climate related risks. She serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Finance, HKUST Business School, and has delivered several ESG training for companies. Entela hold various board level advisory positions. She graduated with a PhD in Financial Engineering from SFI, Switzerland, MPhil in International Economics from HEI, Geneva, Switzerland and Certificate of Finance from Oxford University.

María Blanca is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with Double Degree in International & European Business from France and Mexico. With over 15 years of experience working with banks and MNCs in Europe and Asia, María has acquired extensive management accounting and budgeting knowledge. She has also specialised in ESG and B-corp framework. Previously she has successfully established strategic alliances for multiple international companies in ASEAN. María also held positions as CFO and Finance Director with SME’s in Hong Kong. She contributed her knowledge in corporate governance and financial controlling to assist companies in achieving business goals.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

1. To increase the representation and inclusion of women in the workforce. Eliminate unconscious bias and stereotypes by providing training and assisting companies in implementing higher criteria around HR procedures and policies such as hiring, promotion and appraisal reviews. Create more inclusive workplaces where quotas are not the primary driver, rather implementing these changes at their overall core objectives.

2. To drive a positive impact in the workforce by implementing more creative and tailored D&I strategies that can trigger a more inclusive and diverse organisational culture.

3. Create corporate awareness and keep working with the government in addressing gender equality issues, especially around working mothers.

Lauren is the Director of the Circular Fashion Programme at Hong Kong environmental charity Redress, working to tackle the problem of clothing waste in Hong Kong by increasing the re-use, re-sale and recycling of clothing. The Programme empowers consumers and retailers by building local infrastructure to extend the life of clothing as well as through education and training to encourage positive use and disposal habits.

Charlotte Breyer specializes in connecting the corporate community with good social causes to create sustainable positive impact. Charlotte has worked for NGOs in the overseas aid sector and is also the co-founder of Big Heroes Ltd., a social enterprise connecting corporates with great local charity organisations through professionally managed social team-building events in Singapore. She believes a sustainably thriving business is in touch with its impact on people and planet, and that respect for the triple bottom line is the best foundation for long-term success.

Mark is Head of JLL’s Energy & Sustainability Services team for Asia Pacific. He works with real estate occupiers and investors to develop & implement sustainability strategies towards a Net Zero Carbon future. He lives in Hong Kong with his wife, 2 kids and Frank the cat.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Do more with less – make positive change to earth.

Jean-Marc’s main focus is heading up WWF’s newly launched Bankable Nature Solutions initiative for Asia, which aims to originate and develop scalable bankable projects with conservation impact. He is also managing the Asia-Pacific portion of the origination facility for the €160 million Dutch Fund for Climate and Development.

He was instrumental in launching the Climate Impact Asia Fund in January 2020 and is a member of its Investment Advisory Committee. He also advises institutional investors, lenders, and underwriters on the financial and economic risks and opportunities related to climate change and environmental issues.

Prior to WWF, he spent 17 years in the financial industry advising institutional investors on equities and equity derivatives. He started his investment banking career in 1997 with Merrill Lynch in New York City and has been based in Hong Kong since 2004, working for BNP Paribas and Jefferies. He graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.

Renee Chan, Customer Director of Watsons Hong Kong, is a seasoned marketer with over 15 years of experience in turning data insights into O+O customer experience campaign to grow loyalty via online and offline platforms. She refreshes social purpose of Watsons – “Look Good, Do Good. Feel Great.” to engage customers in fostering sustainable lifestyle.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Watsons commits in sustainability development in “Look Good. Do Good. Feel Great.” and will strengthen two core goals to its 2030 Group Sustainability Roadmap – better waste management and more responsible Own Brand products.

Woody Chan leads corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives at foodpanda, strengthening its commitment to grow sustainably with its ecosystem of riders, merchants, and consumers. As an advocate for environmental sustainability, Woody has also participated in various speaking engagements, from TEDx talks and university seminars to industry forums and panels.

To make every delivery experience as sustainable as possible through cutting greenhouse gas emissions, reducing plastic waste and minimising food waste.

As the head of Business Innovation Department at Nan Fung Group, Yan Chan leads the team to develop actions across departments and projects in sustainability initiatives covering green, wellness, community engagement, social design, art and culture, in support of the Group’s core vision to advocate corporate-led sustainability.

Denman is the Head of Sales at P&G Hong Kong & Macau, overseeing the Sales and Trade Marketing function. His extensive experiences cover different channels, categories and markets. Denman is also leading the regional Equality & Inclusion team, aspiring to create a world that everyone is valued, included and respected.

Annie is the Chair of RS Group, and believes we should, and can, “invest in the future we want to create”. Besides challenging RS Group to invest its own capital sustainably, and advocating for sustainable finance in Hong Kong, Annie also actively supports causes that focus on climate change through natural capital conservation.

Florence Cheng is the Head of Impact Strategy of Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk). She leads SVhk’s advisory projects with corporate and non-profit partners to innovate purpose-driven positioning and activate business capabilities for shared impact creation. She also manages SVhk’s portfolio ventures including the Community Resilience Fund.

Suzanne Cheung is the Head of Sustainability and directs the Public Affairs and Communications Department of Swire Coca-Cola HK. She develops and executes sustainability strategies and actions in HK market based on the Swire Coca-Cola 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy, covering ‘Planet’, ‘Product’ and ‘People’, which includes sustainable packaging advancement.

Further enhance packaging sustainability through reduce of material use, redesign for recyclability, as well as identifying suitable partners for environmentally preferable alternatives and recycling.

Driven by a deep-seated belief that design, innovation and technology can make the world a better place for all, Donald Choi is worker of the built environment. He has worked on a large number of high profile public and private projects worldwide. Alongside his professional career, he has held multiple leadership roles in NGO and professional bodies that focus on community, design and innovation.

Joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 2012, Isaac currently works as the Sustainability Support Manager with key missions to implement renewable energy projects, reduce waste in operations and improving materials sourcing in the Club. He runs internal stakeholder engagement workshops to prepare key departments on MSW charging and drive waste reduction.

Chung Sum Yue Natalie is an environmentalist and social innovator born and raised in Hong Kong, currently pursuing MPhil in Environmental Change and Management at University of Oxford as the Millennium Scholar. Inspired by a polar explorer since young, Natalie has dedicated her life for climate action. At the age of 18, she co-founded “V’air Hong Kong” to promote sustainable ecotourism for climate change mitigation. She serves as a member at the Council for Sustainable Development and the Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee of the HKSAR Government.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

My sustainability goal is to stimulate green recovery post COVID-19, ensuring that resources are dedicated to building more resilient socioeconomic systems that are equitable and stay within environmental thresholds. I also wish to contribute in constructing urban circular bioeconomy and enhancing climate adaptation plans for vulnerable communities.

Olivia is the founder and CEO of LUÜNA. She is Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2021, Tatler’s Generation T 2021, Hong Kong Women’s Advocate of the Year 2020 and the IPWS Young Business Leader of the Year 2020. LUÜNA is a purpose-driven period wellness company. Built between Hong Kong and Shanghai, LUÜNA exists to redefine the traditional period care industry to create social and environmental impact. Olivia launched the company in 2019, after learning about the harmful effects of the traditional period industry’s use of conventional cotton and non-cotton materials. Today, healthy LUÜNA period care products are available for subscription online, through retailers including Watsons and in bathrooms of major corporations and schools through the company’s unique dispenser system.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

1. Increase education around and adoption of reusable period care products to vastly reduce plastic period waste.

2. Launch subscription service which offers the user a carbon free period by working with partners to offset carbon emissions from the service.

3. Support corporates, schools, brands and organizations to supply eco-friendly period care products.

Jonathan is President APAC of the world’s leading brand transformation company, Landor & Fitch. Based in Hong Kong since 2008, Jonathan leads a team of 300 across the region working with some of the world’s most innovative businesses to help shape extraordinary futures.

Penny is the Brand, Customer and Corporate Affairs Director of Bupa in Hong Kong, leading a growing function that is focused on engaging people to live healthier and more sustainable lives. With a background mixing marketing and corporate affairs, Penny has worked across financial services, government, NGOs and now healthcare.

To reduce my personal footprint from food and fashion consumption, and to learn more about the incredible biodiversity of Hong Kong and how macro factors impact it.

BAKAR Fariha Salma Deiya is a Hong Kong born Bangladeshi. She is currently an Executive Officer at the Institute of Youth Sustainability Leadership, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.

She is pursuing her Master of Laws in Human Rights [LLM(HR)] at the University of Hong Kong (Faculty of Law).

A member of the Commission on Children, she helps to drive work for the benefit of children in relation to policy development regarding research and public engagement, children with specific needs, children protection, rights and development.

My research focuses on environmental policy, green finance and regional innovation. In particular, I am interested in utilizing the practical research approach to address real-life policy problems. At the Institute for Public Policy, our central objective is to connect research and policy, and provide answers to the questions that urgently demand to be tackled.

Before becoming an entrepreneur in founding his sports events company, Clement Dumont managed his laboratory in marine conservation at the University of Hong Kong. His research focused on marine conservation and fisheries management with a Ph.D. on sea urchin fisheries in North America.

Sylvia started her career in government affairs and has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, issues management, and public policy across public and private sector organisations. She holds a MPA – University of Southern California, a MBA – University of California, Irvine, and a BA, Political Science – University of California, Irvine.

Lead and support the positioning and communication of Vistra’s sustainability goals – internal policies and initiatives, as well as how we are helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.

Having started commercial life as a shipbroker, William went on to co-found Mandarin Shipping in 2006. In 2016 he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer and elected to the board of the Hong Kong shipowning group Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings before assuming the role of Managing Director in 2019.

Yvette has more than 17 years of experience in leadership role on strategy and portfolio management across P&G China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Aside from being an advocate for corporate’s force for good, she is also the key sponsor and ally to P&G’s citizenship initiatives.

Lisa Genasci is the founder and CEO of ADM Capital Foundation (ADMCF), an innovative philanthropic vehicle established to support critical research and impact-driven approaches to promoting environmental conservation in Asia. Lisa has also helped lead private credit manager ADM Capital’s ESG integration, heads the ADMC ESG Committee and sits as an observer to the ADMC Investment Advisory Committee.

Charles Goddard imagines and builds The Economist Group’s flagship initiatives. He works closely with partners on themes ranging from ageing and longevity to climate change, global health security and the sustainable ocean economy. Based in Hong Kong, Charles was previously editorial director, Asia, at the Economist Intelligence Unit and managing director of the Economist Corporate Network, a peer network for senior executives. He is executive director of the Group’s World Ocean Initiative.

Liza is Head of Corporate Citizenship Asia Pacific at Credit Suisse and Executive Director of the Credit Suisse APAC Foundation, based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for overseeing regional grant-making and the management and impact assessment of the Credit Suisse philanthropy portfolio, working with local country management and foundations in multiple locations across Asia.

After his Economics degree and MBA in Italy, Roberto worked at Procter & Gamble in Europe and Asia across local, regional and global roles. He then became Vice President & General Manager of Coca-Cola China. He joined Vitasoy as Group CEO in 2013, and is also Director of Ariston Thermo Group.

Adam Harper is the Founder and Managing Director of Ashbury. The firm integrates communications strategy with original content creation for financial sector clients, with a strong emphasis on ESG and technology. Adam was previously HSBC’s Head of Communications for Greater China and Regional Head of Communications for Global Banking and Markets, Asia-Pacific. He has lived in Hong Kong since 2004 and is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

Tracy Wong Harris is the Head of Sustainable Finance for Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on the Bank’s sustainable finance strategy, by developing new products and solutions, further incorporating ESG considerations into banking decisions, and identifying sustainable finance opportunities for clients. Tracy is also the Vice President and Deputy Secretary General of Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA).

My career combines commercial with sustainability policies. I worked for the ILO in Nigeria; the Dutch MFA and for the EU on nuclear fusion, humanitarian aid and health policies. Recent postings include Indonesia and the Philippines, where I served as head of the trade section of the EU Delegation, following which I was responsible for leveraging EU’s trade (preferences) for improving labour, human rights and environmental standards. In January 2021, I was appointed head of the trade section of the EU office to Hong Kong and Macao.

Patrick Healy is Chairman of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Swire Coca-Cola Limited. He is also a Director of John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited, a Non-Executive Director of Swire Properties Limited and Air China Limited. Mr. Healy has been with the Swire Group for more than 30 years.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Driving the rollout of the revised group sustainability strategy SwireTHRIVE and associated targets.

Tamsin Heath is currently the Acting British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao. She assumed the role in December 2020, following the retirement of Andrew Heyn.  The new Consul General is expected to arrive in summer 2021.

She arrived in Hong Kong in August 2019 as Deputy Consul General. Tamsin joined the Diplomatic Service in 2005 as a diplomatic service economist working on economic issues, and as the economist in the Iraq Policy Unit in 2006-2007.  Her first posting was as 2^nd Secretary Economic and Trade Policy in Beijing, working on the UK/China Economic and Financial Dialogue, as well as intellectual property issues.

After Beijing, she worked as First Secretary Economic, Energy & Climate Change at the British Embassy in Riyadh, and then as Head of Yemen policy in London, where she acted briefly as Charg d’Affaires in Sana’a in 2013. Between 2013 and 2015 Tamsin was Private Secretary to the FCO Permanent Under Secretary and Head of the Diplomatic Service.

She moved to Hong Kong from The Hague after three years working for the Dutch Development Bank FMO, as Senior Strategy Advisor and Head of Public Affairs.

Before joining the FCO, Tamsin worked for the Chief Economist of the Royal Bank of Scotland group and at HM Treasury. She studied Economics at the University of Cambridge.

Ash Hegland is the COO at Intensel Climate Risk Solutions. Over the past 20 years in the Asia-Pacific region, Ash has advised blue chip MNC’s, including HSBC, Swire Group, Jardines Group, Cathay Pacific, and CLP Group, on climate risk, sustainability strategy, ESG disclosure, and stakeholder management. Lawrence Iu is the Climate Change & Partnerships Lead at Civic Exchange. As a professional environmental strategist, he has profound experience in crafting climate change model and impactful public policy. Currently, he focuses on policy action in Energy, Building Energy Efficiency and Mobility. He successfully built a platform with public, corporate and government to craft an inclusive transition plan with strong buy-in.

Previously he worked in a multinational corporation and a higher institution, Mr. Iu led environmental sustainability and occupational health & safety projects across Asia Pacific and coordinated emerging technology management, circular economy and green chemistry research.

Despite these difficult times, we must remain forward looking and anticipate the time of recovery. Mr Wong Kam-sing was born in 1963 and graduated from the Department of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong.  He received further education on sustainable built environment in the postgraduate program from the University of British Columbia in Canada.  He assumed the post of the Secretary for the Environment of the HKSAR Government on 1 July 2012.

As an architect by profession, Mr Wong has been promoting sustainable built environment since 1990s.  His designs and researches on sustainable built environment have won him various local, regional and international awards.  He served as the founder Chairman of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Chairman of the Professional Green Building Council and the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, and has contributed to the promotion and research of the standards and guidelines for sustainable built environment applicable to the high-density urban environment of Hong Kong.

During his tenure as the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong has launched and updated a number of policy blueprints covering air quality, waste management, energy saving, climate actions and biodiversity.

I am a passionate entrepreneur focused on forging positive change in the community by creating a platform for authentic communication.

After a high pressure career in advertising I took time off to raise my twin girls and son. For my next challenge, I felt inspired to combine my work with my passions- sustainability, championing a plant-based lifestyle, and positive mental health. Gabrielle Kirstein is the Chief Executive Officer of Feeding Hong Kong, a registered charity with a mission to fight hunger in Hong Kong and reduce the amount of quality food being sent to our city’s landfills.  Feeding Hong Kong achieves this by collecting high quality food that would otherwise be thrown away and redistributing it to frontline charities feeding people in need.

Gabrielle started her career at the international advertising agency Bates and their integrated communication consultancy 141 London.  She moved to Hong Kong in 2003 and continued her career in communications and events with Euromoney Institutional Investor, The Economist Group and others, until founding Feeding Hong Kong in 2011.

Gabrielle is a Board Director of Redress, an environmental NGO working to reduce waste in the fashion industry and co-founder of The Redress Design Award, Redress’ flagship programme. She holds a BA in English Literature from Durham University and  MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Michael Kokora is a partner at OBJECT TERRITORIES, a critical design practice based in Hong Kong and New York that works at the intersection of architecture, landscape, and urbanism. We engage the built environment at scales ranging from strategic interventions to architectural projects and regional masterplans. We explore the spatial conditions between objects (buildings) and territories (landscapes) to develop intelligent forms with a commitment to public space and environmental activism. Mr. Lawson Lau is the Executive Director of Cornerstone Technologies Holdings Limited. Prior to founding Cornerstone Technologies, Lawson spent over 19 years in the construction industry, primarily on product management and business development.

Lawson runs all facets of the business and oversees Cornerstone Technologies’ innovation efforts in EV (Electric Vehicle) charging, sustainable energy and IT solutions starting from 2016.

Mr Lau has been actively engaged in environmental protection work since the late 1980s aiming to catalyze green policy development and community action. Zoe Lau is a Vice President at BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship (BIS) team in APAC. She is responsible for engaging with listed companies in BlackRock’s portfolio on corporate governance and sustainability issues. Suvan Law is the Deputy Director at CCHA, providing support and services to homeless and people living in poor housing. She has served the underprivileged for over 20 years including “cage home” residents and unwed pregnant women in HK; refugees in the U.S.; university students and needy children in Mainland China. Suvan has a Master’s in Social Work and is a registered social worker.

Joe Lee is an ecosystem ecologist specializing in coastal wetlands (e.g. mangroves and salt marshes). His current interests focus on the ecosystem services of coastal wetlands, and how these may be impacted by anthropogenic environmental changes, particularly intense coastal urbanization in tropical estuaries.

Jenny is the Under Secretary General for Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA). Jenny has over two decades of experience in equity derivatives, hedge fund management and human resource consulting with Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan and Mercer, based in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Jenny Co-Founded Development Finance Asia and is CFA Certified in ESG investing.

Dr. Peter Lee oversees the market segment of Environment, having successfully driven development and commercialization of technologies in air and water purification, green coatings, waste recycling as well as biodegradable materials. He received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of California at Berkeley and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Before joining NAMI, Dr. Peter Lee had worked in the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries in the US for more than 20 years. He has over 30 publications and holds more than 30 patents.

Dr. Jane Lee is Director of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican) Welfare Council. In 2008, she initiated an annual event, Social Enterprise Summit and served as the Chair for 9 years. She was Founding Chief Executive of Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and now remains as a member of the Board of Directors. C F Leung is currently the Director – Operations of Business Environment Council. As an environmental engineer with over 20 years of experience, he has been spearheading the development of sustainable buildings by leading and providing advisory services on a large number of green building initiatives. He also works on waste related projects by providing waste management and audit services for building sector and community events.

CF also involves in formulating and executing of several renowned environmental award programmes, including HSBC Living Business Awards and BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards.

Helene Li, a key voice and one of the top sustainable finance influencers globally. As an enthusiastic advocate for Sustainable Finance and Impact Investment, Helene is currently the CEO and co-founder of GoImpact, as well as a sought after speaker and moderator at conferences and industry summits in Sustainable Development.

Kelvin Li serves as Director of Strategy and Business Development at Schneider Electric, formulating corporate strategies to drive business growth by leveraging innovative technologies in the energy industry. He holds over 20 years’ experience in power utility, energy consultancies, and energy corporations in Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom. He holds three master degrees – MPA from Harvard University, MBA from London Business School, and MSc from The University of Hong Kong. He also got selected to The Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme by The University of Cambridge.

Kim-See Lim is the International Finance Corporation’s Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific (EAP), leading investment and advisory operations across 18 countries and overseeing IFC’s strategy in the region. IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest multilateral private-sector investor in emerging markets and has US$10 billion invested in EAP.

Ms. Lim, a global investment professional with 26 years of experience, has led teams in the execution and management of debt and equity investments across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Sustainability is always at the core of her investment thesis and strategy.

Ms. Lim’s global career in development finance has taken her to more than 30 countries, including frontier markets such as Belarus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Mozambique, Myanmar, and Rwanda, among many others.

Climate change is a defining development challenge of our time. IFC’s goal is for climate investments to comprise at least one third of our annual financings. We recently introduced blue financing products to complement our green and social-impact financing instruments.

Mr Lim has been involved in developing waste projects across Asia over the last 25 years. In recent years, he has been focused primarily on projects in Hong Kong with Veolia. He also represents Veolia Hong Kong in Drink Without Waste.

Ms. Ophelia Lin is the Founder and Managing Director of Meiriki Japan with over 20 years of executive and management experience. She is committed to integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into business model and undertakes the initiative to fulfill corporate social responsibility. She completed a programme organized by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). She later served as the founding president of “SME Sustainability Society” and is at the same time, appointed as the board governor of “Friends of the Earth (HK)” and a founding member of HKCSS“Caring SME Alliance”. She continues to inspire and assists SMEs to pursue sustainable development and works jointly to realize the vision of sustainable development.

Ms. Ophelia Lin is dedicated to building a platform to facilitate cross-sectoral collaboration and bring together SMEs for a sustainable future. She continues to inspire and assists SMEs to pursue sustainable development through cultivation of leadership and knowledge exchange.

Jonathan joined Jardines in HK in January 2018 and has taken a leading role in the development and implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy over the past two years. He spent many years as a lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the UK, Europe and Asia, before joining Tesco in 2005, where his role included leading engagement with investors on ESG matters and working closely with the group’s sustainability team.

Tim is a Chartered Environmental Surveyor and Town Planner specializing in sustainability town planning and low carbon development. He is well experienced in delivering green building project management and corporate sustainability solutions to government agencies and private sectors in Asia and North America. Tim has recently led several key initiatives to drive the sustainability transformation of existing buildings and aging community in Hong Kong, including the iBEAM automated project management platform, BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Portfolio Assessment Scheme and Data Collection System for BEAM Plus NB v.1.2 Assessment Scheme.

Dr. Kevin Lo is Assistant Professor of Geography and Associate Director of David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies (LEWI) at HKBU. Kevin is a human geographer with expertise in environmental governance. He has won several competitive grants from the Research Grants Council and has published in many leading journals.

Tabitha has over a decade of legal and commercial knowledge in the drybulk shipping industry. She has worked for leading shipowners in Asia for the past 10 years, managing their handysize fleet trading worldwide. In addition, she is the Director of YPSN and The Captain’s Table, a platform bringing startups and the industry together to collaborate on issues such as decarbonization and sustainability.

Facilitate open and collaborative dialogue between the shipping industry and startups looking at decarbonization solutions. Set a good example to my children on sustainable behaviors and environmental awareness.

Lucia’s interest in sustainability started while studying at the university where she researched the social impact of tourism and the traditional food heritage. She holds a joint master’s degree in Tourism Management with focus on sustainability and has been involved in social impact space, diversity & inclusion, and the nonprofit sector throughout various NGOs over the past decade. Most recently, Lucia has become the Executive Director of GREEN Hospitality and is the Education Program Manager at the Foundation for Shared Impact, delivering experiential learning programs at the University of Hong Kong.

Mark Lunt is a seasoned technology executive, investor and mentor. He has worked in companies ranging in size from small start ups to substantial corporations and has extensive global experience that encompasses Europe, the USA, SE Asia, China and Australasia.

His most recent corporate role was as Group Managing Director of the Jardine OneSolution Group JOS, one of Asia’s largest IT services companies. As well as working in the corporate environment he has spent many years in startup or early stage companies, experiencing the stresses founders and investors face when time, resources and money are scarce.

Before moving to Hong Kong in early 2011 he held sales, operational and MD/CEO roles in the UK and New Zealand.

Mark is now a partner in Tolo Partners, an advisory firm working with start up and early stage Hong Kong companies and a Senior Adviser at Equiteq, a global M&A firm focused exclusively on the technology sector.

Pamela Mar leads the development of knowledge and applications which support the Fung Group’s strategic response to disruption driven by technology, the rise of sustainability, geopolitical risk and the changing nature of consumption. Current explorations include trade finance, sustainable finance and the global supply chain’s evolution after Covid-19.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Drive sustainability into finance and supply chains.

Nigel is a chartered civil engineer and waste manager with more than 40 years’ international experience including both engineering and finance. He has particular expertise in the waste and resource management sector and is part of the team developing the New Life Plastics project using state-of-the-art technology to help manage part of HK’s plastic waste problem.

Shalini Mahtani is one of Hong Kong’s most authoritative and respected voices on social issues, particularly diversity and inclusion and the plight of Hong Kong’s ethnic minorities. Shalini has been a pioneer in civil society working in areas previously untouched in Hong Kong.

She is the founder of The Zubin Foundation, a charity that works to improve the lives of Hong Kong’s marginalised ethnic minorities by providing opportunities and reducing suffering. They are mostly Hong Kong’s poorest Indians, Pakistanis and Nepalis. The Zubin Foundation is among the city’s most accomplished and recognised on issues related to ethnic minorities. The Zubin Foundation works with women and girls in crisis and has the only helpline for them called “Call Mira”, it has the only mental health centre for ethnic minority children and adults in Hong Kong, works with families with special needs children in public schools and offers yearly scholarships for the financially needy to enter tertiary education. Simply put, Shalini works with those that lack visibility and opportunity in Hong Kong who are mostly of South Asian and South East Asian descent. The Zubin Foundation is named after Zubin Mahtani Gidumal, Shalini’s first child who died tragically in 2009.

Laurence works in science-based management and conservation of ocean ecosystems. He is particularly interested in using natural capital and ecosystem service accounting to correct mistaken perception that human development requires costs for nature conservation. He is passionate about engaging business and finance to take responsibility for preventing and reversing environmental degradation.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Kickstart major increase in uptake of sustainable seafood by consumers, retailers and suppliers in HK; upscale transitions away from single use plastic; kickstart process of marine spatial planning in GBA.

William McGoldrick is the acting Regional Managing Director for The Nature Conservancy Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, he leads a USD $45 million program across 12 countries in support of TNC’s two foremost priorities: protecting lands, oceans and freshwater; and tackling climate change through science-based mitigation and adaptation strategies.

Andrew Mead is responsible for the architectural design management of all new MTR stations, trains and transit facilities. In addition, he oversees the Art in MTR programme to create site specific artworks in stations.  He has managed the design of over 200 metro stations in London, Toronto, Singapore & Dubai.

As Head of Programmes & Partnerships, Martina manages member services and builds tri-sector partnerships to promote the adoption of Shared Value. Drawing from tri-sector experience in public relations and sustainable business, Martina believes in the power of collaboration and corporate social innovation for scalable, sustainable development.

An economist who has worked for the International Labor Organization and the International Finance Corporation, currently heads PwC’s Thought Leadership team for HK.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

My personal goals are: (a) to reduce consumption of non-vegetarian food therefore we do two vegetarian meals/week (b) to continue to recycle clothes.

Carmen Ng is Director of Sustainability at Langham Hospitality Group. In her role, she leads and drives the sustainability strategy within the Group. She is responsible for a diverse range of sustainability programmes including strategy and policies development, management system, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting. She also believes in sustainability is everyone’s responsibility and her role is implanting this concept like a DNA into every colleague in the company.

Dr Jeanne Ng is currently the Chair of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals Limited (HKIQEP) and Director of the CLP Research Institute.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Continue working on SDG 13 – Climate Action, SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth and SDG 7 – Affordable & Clean Energy.

Devana is the co-founder of Invisible Company, she is actively promoting Eco With Attitude through daily actions for a better and plastic free living. Today they are offering alternative, sustainable packaging solutions to brands with #INVISIBLEBAG which is water-soluble, compostable and biodegradable, proven to be non-toxic, non-harmful to the environment.

As Director – Policy & Research of Business Environment Council (“BEC”), Mr Ng is responsible for BEC’s policy advocacy, thought leadership development, and collaborative research on environmental issues such as climate change and decarbonisation, circular economy, clean energy, sustainable mobility, air pollution and sustainable living environment.

Francis Ngai is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk), an Impact Purpose Organisation committed to re-imagining a purpose-driven city. He is also the Founder of Playtao Education, BottLess, HATCH, Sonova and a Co-Founder of Green Monday and RunOurCity and actively supports the incubation of social ventures to drive positive social change for a better Hong Kong that we all cherish and feel proud to call home.

Tim Parker is the founder of Circular City, a Hong Kong based zero waste tech startup, developing circular economic business models with smart connected products.

He has recently launched CHOOSE: REUSE, Hong Kong’s first reusable takeout packaging service with embedded tech, to give F&B and their customers a new choice when ordering takeout.

Chinali Patel is a UK diplomat at the British Consulate General in Hong Kong leading on illicit finance policy. Chinali maintains excellent relationships with key influencers, wider civil society and international partners to ensure a coordinated and responsive approach to issues which need addressing at international, regional and local level in addressing illicit finance.

Merrin is a facilitator and connector. He has a wide range of international experience working for Government Departments, SMEs, international companies and NGOs in stakeholder engagement roles, quality assurance and sustainability.

Utilising his land surveying expertise and experience in delivering experiential leadership learning programs on sustainability with a problem solving engineer’s mind, he is able to come up with alternative scenarios for client issues.

To reconnect people with nature:

Founder, educator and social entrepreneur, Jon’s intrinsic mission is to help create a world where every human is empowered to give their unique gift to the world.

Mr Eric Poon is a professional quantity surveyor.   He is currently the Executive Director, Commercial in the Urban Renewal Authority, taking charge of matters relating to planning and design; property and land; and corporate services.  He is also a Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council and a member of the Construction Industry Council.

Emmanuelle Prono has been working for years in the field of compliance and legal at TTI and became early this year the Group Vice president sustainability, leading TTI’s global sustainability initiatives. Emmanuelle studied International law and International business law and more recently sustainability business management.

Vivek Ramachandran is the Chief Executive Officer of Serai, a new tech venture owned by HSBC. Based in Hong Kong, Serai is a B2B platform where buyers and suppliers can search and transact via trusted networks. Before Serai, Vivek was the Global Head of Growth & Innovation, at HSBC Commercial Banking. He was responsible for co-ordinating key strategic growth initiatives, exploring new business models and driving the adoption of new technologies. He was also the Global Head of Product for HSBC’s Trade & Receivables Finance business.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

I see technology as a critical enabler to businesses achieving their sustainability objectives. Our goal at Serai is to make it easier for businesses to build supply chain transparency and to act upon this information. We have started with the Fashion industry.

Lisbon based Pierre Rousseau is Senior Strategic Advisor for BNP Paribas’ Sustainable Business and leads innovative investing and financing initiatives for sustainability. Prior to this, Pierre was Head of Global Markets Asia Pacific, supervising also the Financial Institutions Coverage unit for APAC. Previously, Pierre was Head of Equities, Asia Pacific, where he led BNP Paribas’ Equity Cash and Equities Derivatives platforms.

Pierre has almost three decades of experience across the financial services industry, two thirds of which have been spent in Asia Pacific with senior positions in business as well in control. In late 90′, he was a pioneer of the electronic trading in Japan and the rest of Asia.

In addition to his professional life, Pierre has been actively involved in supporting entrepreneurial projects in the circular economy such as Nomad Plastic and NetZero, and raising funds for sustainable NGOs such as the internationally renowned Room To Read and the Hong Kong-based and independent NGO, Sunshine Action.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Develop innovative finance solutions for sustainability, mainly with Blue Finance, Beyond Finance APAC and Green Arc Capital. Co-founder of Nomad Plastic Ltd, a purpose-driven company developing business concept integrating sustainable tourism and low tech solutions to regenerate marine biodiversity, address plastic pollution and develop sustainable activities for local communities in the remote areas: Exploring For Purpose.

Edoardo Francesco Sabatino is an intrapreneur and manages Sustainable Finance deals of Intesa Sanpaolo, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking division in APAC. On the institutional side, he is a Member of the HKGCC – Environment & Sustainability Committee. Furthermore, he is pursuing a joint Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, London Business School and Hong Kong University.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

I’m keen to boost Circular Economy practices in APAC, discover new business opportunities related to sustainability and work toward a better will for our planet, oceans and communities.

Jose Luis – Blue Finance, Director Business Development. Previously, he worked as independent consultant in sustainability & ecotourism and also in the financial industry in HK, NY, Mexico for 19 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics (ITAM-Mexico), an MBA (Boston University), and Certifications in Sustainable Finance (Frankfurt School) and in Sustainable Tourism (GSTC).

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Jose Luis reoriented his career & skills towards sustainability with a mission of identifying and leading impactful projects that contribute to achieve 4 of the SDGs by 2030: SDG8; SDG13; SDG14; SDG15.

Peter Sargant is the CEO of Community Business, an NGO dedicated to advancing responsible and inclusive business practices across Asia. Peter is a dedicated D&I advocate and a champion for minority groups. He has served as a Board Member of AIDS Concern and is currently on Urban Light’s International Board.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

To lead, inspire and support businesses to have a positive impact on people and communities.

Kait Sheridan is the founder and CEO of Runwell Global, a boutique social impact consulting agency, that specializes in helping organizations take big ideas and put them to action. She has over a decade of experience in program management, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing and content development, thought leadership and executive coaching, and digital campaigns, with a focus on developing global impact programs to scale.

Kim is responsible for strategic-planning, marketing, insights, R&D, digital transformation and change management in the company. He had been working closely with the industry, expert groups, the government and NGO sector concerning plastic wastes, to develop sustainable manufacturing best practices in the past 10 years.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Open the door to the circular economy of plastic waste in Hong Kong. Move beyond package Redesign and Recycle, and lead the industry into Recovery, Reduce, Reuse.

An specialist in corporate positioning, employee engagement, ESG and crisis communications, Emma was APAC CEO of Weber Shandwick prior to founding Sandpiper, a 100% employee-owned corporate communications advisory business. She is a regular judge of PR Awards and sits on the boards of two Hong Kong based charities.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Reduce our levels of plastic use to a minimum. Increase our current composting effort across not only our own household but our neighbors households too.

Irene is a mission-driven leader with 20+ years’ experiences in launching impactful initiatives for NGOs and foundations at local and international levels. Formerly a journalist and a sponsored child, she has been reflecting on what works in the philanthropic sector, and is well versed in social development, change management, strategizing, and mass communication.

Max Song is founder and CEO of Carbonbase (carbonbase.co), a HK based climate tech startup building enterprise solutions for measuring, managing and reducing carbon emissions. Previously, he worked in investments for HK family offices, where he invested in TMT, AI, blockchain, and healthcare. He worked as a data scientist in Silicon Valley for Ayasdi, where he helped with data analysis applications for finance, biotech and healthcare. He received a Masters degree from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and Bachelor of Science from Brown University, where he majored in Applied Math.

Ian Spaulding is the Founder and CEO of ELEVATE – the industry leader in sustainability and supply chain services globally. Prior to founding ELEVATE, Ian worked at Sears Holdings, KPMG and BSR. At Sears Holdings, he was the Director of Global Compliance where he pioneered the largest effort to promote greater transparency and continuous improvement among thousands of manufacturing facilities globally.

Arun Sudhaman is CEO and editor-in-chief at PRovoke Media.

In this role Arun oversees PRovoke Media’s global content offering, including its analysis and insight into reputation, public relations and communications trends and issues. Since joining PRovoke Media in 2010, Arun has comprehensively redefined the title’s content platform, which includes its digital presence and new products such as the Influence 100 compendium of key global influencers, the Global PR Agency Rankings, the Global Creative Index, and the Echo Chamber podcast. He also led the rebrand of the Holmes Report to PRovoke Media in 2020.

To continue reducing my carbon footprint in such areas as single-use plastic, food and travel. And to keep pushing companies to take sustainability seriously.

Dr. Ted Suen is the Chief Information Officer of MTR Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible to formulate the corporate IT strategy, manage the overall MTR corporate IT function, direct the establishment of a stable, reliable and highly effective IT environment to support the business operation and to ensure Information System solutions are in-line with corporate business strategies.

David Sutherland is the CEO of International Care Ministries. ICM has graduated 1.3 million Filipinos from its signature four-month anti-poverty training program. Ultra-poor participants see a 167% increase in income and an 18% reduction in illness. “A business approach to fighting poverty.” Until early 2013, David was Morgan Stanley Asia’s Chief Financial Officer.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

ICM promotes sustainability of progress out of poverty through community volunteers who champion continued savings and strong family values. In 2021, we are adding thousands of Community Health Champions to help tens of thousands of families.

Winnie is Client Relationship Manager at PwC responsible for enhancing client experience across China. Previously, she was a headhunter covering financial services, and worked at the Bank of East Asia’s facilitating cross-border corporate loans. Besides, she volunteers for NGOs in an advisory capacity and for youth programmes as a mentor/coach.

Eunice chairs S&P’s APAC Credit Conditions Committee, focusing on regional credit trends. She is also sector lead for APAC insurance ratings. Eunice is amongst the most influential women globally in the field of re/insurance named by “Intelligent Insurer” magazine. She graduates from Nanyang Technological University with an actuarial science major.

Ellie Tang is currently Head of Sustainability at New World Development Company Limited and K11 Concepts Limited, where she founded the function and drives the “New World Sustainability Vision 2030” across the Group’s businesses in Hong Kong and mainland China, leads sustainable financing initiatives, and founded Nature Discovery Park at K11 MUSEA.

Christina Tang founded Blue Sky Energy Technology. Blue Sky specializes in creating sustainable communities by integrating sensors, data and behavioral change solutions, proven to improve occupants engagement, environmental performance and asset management. Prior to Blue Sky, Christina worked in Bain&Co as a management consultant and at social venture capital fund Acumen. She graduated from Brown University majoring in Environmental Sciences and Economics.

Jim is Senior Director – Planning & Development at CLP Power Hong Kong, where he is responsible for supporting the company’s future long term strategic development and regulatory regime.  He has extensive senior management experience of electricity, gas and environmental issues with leading companies in both regulated and deregulated energy markets in the UK and Australia.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

2021 is CLP’s 120^th year.  We aim to use our experience and expertise to work with government and other key stakeholders this year to develop a practical roadmap to help Hong Kong reach carbon neutrality before 2050.

Vivien Teu is a corporate and commercial lawyer with focus on the financial institutions sectors, specialised in investment funds, financial services and related regulatory matters. Vivien has extensive experience in providing strategic advice on legal and regulatory issues in the structuring of asset management, investments or financing arrangements, investment funds and collective investment schemes, joint ventures, private equity and private M&A, and other commercial as well as private clients wealth management matters, across key jurisdictions, asset classes and structures.

As a thought-leader and as a strong believer of responsible capital and social finance, Vivien has dedicated efforts on ESG and impact focus within her investment funds and corporate legal practice, as well as advising on private and corporate foundations, charities, social enterprises, philanthropy and impact. Since joining Dentons, Vivien is part of the Global ESG Leadership Group and the Co-Lead for Sustainable Finance.

Vivien is a member of the advisory board of AVPN – Asia’s largest impact funders network, and is separately also a director of EMpower Hong Kong – The Emerging Markets Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that supports at-risk youth in emerging market countries.

Mike Thomas is a founding partner and managing director at The Lantau Group, an economic consultancy focusing on the energy sector in the Asia Pacific region. Mike advises energy sector stakeholders on matters involving commercial transactions, regulation and market design, strategy, and economic evidence in commercial, competition, and regulatory disputes.

Samson is the Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer of a sustainability-driven integrated communications agency, Echo Asia Communications, and has more than 20 years of experience in the branding, advertising, digital marketing & communications industry in the Greater China region. Samson and his team has won the Red Dot Design Award 2020.

Continue to live a low impact lifestyle, and to build a stronger eco-system for the circular economy in Hong Kong via bridging up corporate and public.

Piers is ERM’s Managing Partner for China/Hong Kong/Taiwan. He works with industrial and financial sector clients to identify, quantify, manage and disclose sustainability risks.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

To educate others about the realities of climate change and the steps that can be taken to reduce emissions.

Alexandra Tracy is President of Hoi Ping Ventures in Hong Kong, which she founded to provide research and consulting on green finance and sustainable investment in Asian emerging markets.  She is currently Private Sector Observer to the World Bank’s Climate Investment Funds, having for several years served as Active Private Sector Observer to the United Nations Green Climate Fund.

Alexandra is a director of RIMM Sustainability Pte Ltd in Singapore and sits on a number of corporate and non profit boards in Hong Kong, including Tom Hugh Limited, where she is non executive Chairman, and the Asia Pacific Investors Cooperation.  She is also a director of the Climate Markets & Investment Association in the UK, and an Advisor to the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology’s Asian Family Business Research Centre, Friends of the Earth Hong Kong and the NDCI.org climate commitment community.

From 2013 to 2019, Alexandra was a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.  She acted as non executive Chairman of the Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia for six years, stepping down in 2015, and was instrumental in establishing the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change during this period.

Alexandra speaks and writes regularly on sustainable finance, development and infrastructure issues.  She has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and MA degrees from Yale University and Cambridge University.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Mobilise private capital for green infrastructure.

Romain Troublé has degrees in 2 different fields — a Master 2 in molecular biology from the Sorbonne, and a Master from HEC – Telecom Paris. As a professional sailor, he participated in regattas at the highest level — twice in the America’s Cup French challenges in 2000 and 2003 in Auckland, NZ. He worked from 2003 to 2006 for a company specialized in polar logistics, organising sporting and scientific expeditions in the Arctic, Antarctica and Siberia, including the discovery of mammoths frozen in permafrost. Since 2004 he has been in charge of the operational management of Tara expeditions, and since 2009, executive director of the Tara Ocean Foundation.

Since 2017, Romain has also been president of the Ocean Climate Platform which brings together more than 96 institutions, foundations, companies, and associations working on advocacy for the ocean’s role in issues of climate and biodiversity.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

My goal is that we reduce by half the travelling of the Tara Foundation staff, which will also help us use our time more efficiently for both private and professional purposes.

Angus, CFO of CN Logistics International Holdings Limited. He has been assisting the CEO in transformational initiatives to drive growth, operation excellence and margin improvement, and led the IPO project of the company. Angus has over 13 years of experience in financial management, investor relations management and company secretarial matters.

Joyce Tsoi is Senior Manager, Supply Chain Sustainability in Global Sustainability & Responsibility Team at VF Corporation. She has over 15 years of industry experience in spearheading corporate social responsibility, environmental management and sustainability in multiple industries including apparel & footwear, electronics, sporting goods, hardgoods, home textiles and accessories. She currently leads VF’s global sustainability efforts across VF’s purpose-led, performance driven supply chain. Through planning and implementation of corporate sustainability strategies, she develops programs and roadmap activities to achieve VF’s sustainability objectives and goals including Science Based Targets. She collaborates widely with internal and external stakeholders to quantify and drive positive environmental impacts in the industries to scale the adoption and verification of Higg Index, wastewater compliance program and energy efficiency & renewable energy program.

Joyce is a chemical and environmental engineer by training, she received honorary degrees from University College London, U.K., Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, U.K. and a PhD. in Environmental Management and Sustainability from the University of Hong Kong. In addition to her academic credentials, Joyce is a certified carbon auditor, ISO 14001 lead auditor and a fellow member of the Institution of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM) U.K. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Civil Society and Governance, University of Hong Kong since 2016. Her teaching interests include environmental management and auditing systems, supply chain and resource management.

Half our environment footprint by 2050; Science Based Target, 55% of GHG emissions on all VF’s own & direct operations by 2025, 30% GHG emissions on all VF’s indirect operations by 2030. 100% renewable energy for VF’s owned and operated facilities.

Helga helps organisations around the globe set powerful sustainability agendas and helps them find the straightest path towards circular models. Through Wealth of Flows Consulting, she brings over 20 years of professional experience, accumulated at McKinsey & Company, the European Chemicals Bureau, and others. Helga authored many critically acclaimed reports on the Circular Economy, including with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

Get the HKSAR EPD set its sights on a more comprehensive, powerful waste management strategy for Hong Kong. Initiate, and make circular economy models more accessible for HK companies.

Haryati Megumi Versace is a member of the Asia Client Business COO team in BlackRock based in Hong Kong. Prior to her current role, she was in the Client Onboarding team based in London for 2 years and in Singapore, where she started her career. Haryati is a CFA Charterholder.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

I am a strong advocate on gender equality and quality education as fundamental human rights and necessary foundation for a peaceful and sustainable world.

Gabriel works closely with Fidelity’s investment professionals to integrate sustainability considerations into investment processes, develop proprietary sustainability ratings, identify long term sustainable investment trends and strategic opportunities, and represent Fidelity’s sustainable investment capabilities to clients.

Gabriel joined Fidelity from BNP Paribas Asset Management’s (BNPP AM) where he was Global Head of Sustainability Research and managed the global ESG Analyst team. He joined BNPP AM from Goldman Sachs where he was Head of GS SUSTAIN Asia (Goldman Sachs ESG equity research team).

Dana co-founded Plastic Free Seas (PFS) 8 years ago, with the goal of educating youth in Hong Kong on the issue of plastic marine pollution, empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to be part of the solution, and make change happen within HK. PFS has reached over 70,000 students in 200 plus local and international schools across Hong Kong.

Lena brings with her a combined experience in finance and social impact. A finance veteran with over 13 years of experience in asset management, she has eventually landed herself into the social innovation space by founding Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs and new venture Womentors alongside working as a consultant with clients such as 100 Women in Finance to all contributed to her strong passion in sustainability especially on gender equality and diversity & inclusion.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

SDG 5: Gender Diversity and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – Lena is truly passionate about helping both women and men to be at their best at all times given equal opportunities.

Build a better loop for recycling in Hong Kong.

With MBA degree in luxury brand management and received numerous green awards since Vegware was introduced in Hong Kong, Ceicy Wong, Managing Director of Vegware Hong Kong, is certain that sustainability is the new luxurious fashion and plant-based, plastic-free disposable brings solution to reduce waste in the food sector.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

Vegware can be simply recycled together with food waste after use; which helps significant carbon footprint divert in the landfill. Ie, the recycled sugarcane used to make Vegware’s takeaway boxes has 99 percent less embodied carbon dioxide than polystyrene. Our goal is to grow composting regions including close the loop through promoting compostable disposables.

Priscilla Wong is a Chartered E&M Engineer with extensive experience in project management and sustainable built environment. She is also a Sustainability Steering Member of the Chinachem Group.

My Sustainability Goals for 2021:

To coordinate with all departments of Chinachem Group to achieve the Group’s Yearly Sustainability Key Performance Index that is based on the Group triple bottom lines – People, Prosperity and Planet.

Joshua leads the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability function at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited – the owner and operator of the iconic Peninsula Hotels and luxury commercial properties, clubs and services. He has experience on improving company’s sustainability performance, enhancing internal policies and guidelines, driving more effective environmental, social and governance disclosure, engaging with internal stakeholders and identifying collaboration opportunities with like-minded partners. He was also involved in the development of the company’s Sustainable Luxury Vision 2030, which covers emerging topics such as climate risks, sustainable building, circular economy, responsible sourcing, animal welfare, modern slavery, diversity and inclusion, and community investment.
