As the official representation of Sweden in Hong Kong, the consulate is dedicated to promoting Swedish sustainable solutions in the city.

The Swedish government has set ambitious goals for sustainability, including going fossil-free by 2045 and 100 per cent renewable energy. Around 60 per cent of Sweden’s national energy supply comes from renewables while Sweden is ranked 2nd globally in the Global Innovation Index in 2025.
