Senior Operation Officer | Adaptation & Resilience Lead
Chiara is Adaptation and Resilience lead at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
With over 15 years of experience in the field, Chiara specialized on impact investing, with a particular focus on climate adaptation and resilience, as well as physical risk management.
Prior to joining IFC, Chiara led the development and implementation of British International Investment’s (BII) adaptation and resilience investment strategy. She has also spearheaded the integration of climate-related risks into BII’s risk management framework, including by developing the organization’s climate risk rating approach.
Previously, Chiara worked for a range of public and private organizations, including IDB Invest, Acclimatise, and Climate Policy Initiative, providing technical analysis and advice on climate investing and climate risk integration.
Chiara, an Italian national, holds a PhD in the Science and Management of Climate Change.
