Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) is ReThink HK’s Nature Restoration Partner and via this partnership, we will offset an estimated 150t of carbon emissions generated by ReThink HK 2023 happened recently in September.
KFBG’s conservation work goes beyond planting trees or rescuing 4,500 wild animals per year, it also raises awareness of ecological, biodiversity and sustainability issues and undertakes species conservation and ecosystem restoration in Hong Kong.
To support its work, KFBG has an annual fundraising event, where adventure meets nature conservation, with a hike through the Nature Reserve of KFBG, which will include a possible side tour to the tree planting / Habitat Restoration sites. By joining this event, you will not only have a fantastic time, but you will also contribute to the nature conservation work of KFBG. Your participation and donations will directly support protecting and preserving the rich biodiversity of Hong Kong’s native species and their habitats.
