Joey Lau currently serves as the Sustainable Development Manager at Swire Properties, one of the leading property developers in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Her role involves providing strategic advice around implementation of the company’s sustainable development strategy and is heavily involved in managing responses for a wide range of sustainability indices.

She has over 10 years of experience in sustainability and has been engaged in different roles and sectors, from consultancy to in-house; serving in long-standing conglomerates and top real estate developers. Her roles allowed her to develop extensive experience around GHG accounting and management, environmental target setting, nature and biodiversity impact assessment, supply chain ESG, sustainability reporting, environmental impact assessment, green building certification and climate risk assessment.

Valerie Wang

Valerie Wang is the Senior Sustainability Solution Consultant at EcoVadis, a purpose-driven company partnering with global customer base to drive positive impact in the supply chain through trusted data and robust supplier risk & engagement intelligence.

In her role, Valerie guides businesses to strategize and maximize EcoVadis’ solution suite value for each customer’s specific use cases and objectives. Her passion and main focus areas are modern slavery, living wage, and Scope 3 value chain emissions.

Prior to her current role, Valerie worked as a Senior Sustainability Analyst and Team Lead focusing on labor and human rights Ratings methodology and engagement with the rated companies.

Valerie obtained Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris.
