Eldage is a social enterprise, developed by Hong Kong’s leading digital marketing agency Fimmick, integrating traditional wisdom, modern knowledge and digital marketing strategy, through O2O (Online to Offline) business model, to promote traditional culture by discovering people with craftsmanship, curating their stories of handicrafts, co-organising workshops with them, selling handicraft products, and bringing innovative ideas into tradition.

Lost Craftsmanship
Most of the traditional handicrafts that used to be done by hand are currently done by machines due to a lack of apprenticeship, yet the folk wisdom, stories and originality of handmade craftwork are irreplaceable. In this respect, we record to preserve and represent traditional craftsmanship in digital formats, continuing their life which was limited to offline forms to an online showcase that will last.
Forgotten Craftsmen
In the subsidence of the old times, craftsmen have lost their position and importance in society gradually. Still believing in their unique artisan spirit and life experience as great assets to today’s society,
we work closely with craftsmen in developing new business solutions that help them re-enter the market with what they are best at doing and a new momentum.
Digital Divide
Due to the lack of familiarity and utilization of digital media among the master craftsmen, it is difficult to promote traditional crafts and knowledge to the younger generation. Therefore, we hope to become a bridge that connects two generations by using technology to widely disseminate valuable cultural elements. We also aim to establish an online platform to revitalize the traditional craft market and strengthen the traditional cultural industry.
