Prof. Witman Hung

Prof. Witman Hung is currently the Co-Founder of Shenzhen ZebraS Technology Startup Acceleration Limited and the Director of the Greater Bay Area Research Center of China Silk Road iValley Research Institute. Prof. Hung has a strong interest in the research of GBA collaboration, national development, technological innovation, and youth affairs. A seasoned ICT professional and angel investor. He is the Executive Chairman of the Chinese Big Data Society, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Industry University Research Collaboration Association, the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association of Hong Kong, and he is one of the Global Council Members of the World Summit Awards, an initiative within the framework of UN WSIS. He is also an Independent Non-executive Director of several companies listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prof. Hung was selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong in 2008, and he was given the Asia Social Innovation Leadership Award by CMO Asia in 2016.
