The Gold Award-winning technologies are: (1) “Bio-Based Biodegradable Composite-Molded Reusables” – a highly durable, moldable and biodegradable bio-based composite material, crafted from cellulosic agricultural waste, contributes to carbon neutrality and enables cost-effective production of reusable daily products; (2) “Nanocurtain: Energy-Saving Transparent Window Coating” – the world’s top performing long-lasting, low-cost, and easy-to-apply window coating with exceptional energy-saving capabilities for window of various shapes, blocking 50% of total solar radiation while allowing over 60% visible light transmission and less than 6% reflection. The technology is co-developed with Harvest Time Facade Limited.
The Silver Award-winning technologies are: (1) “PAPEL+™: Water-Resistant, Oil-Resistant, Germ-Repellent Coating for Paper Packaging” – a plastic-free varnish for food paper packaging, providing ideal water- and oil-resistance along with germ repellency. It meets FDA food-contact safety standards, prevents bacterial contamination, and is certified 100% repulpable, offering a safe, eco-friendly alternative. The technology is co-developed with Main Choice Paper Products Limited; (2) “Safe and Non-Flammable EV Batteries” – this safe EV battery with non-flammable and in-situ formed quasi-solid electrolyte is compatible with existing processes, providing 10 times extended cycle life under 45°C and 4.5V high temperature high voltage cycling, and a 20°C thermal stability improvement over liquid counterpart. The technology is co-developed with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited.
