Jack Yeung

Sustainability Officer

Jack is a nature lover and a sustainability professional with almost a decade of experience in the field. He has worked on a variety of green projects across Hong Kong and internationally, including solar energy, autonomous vehicles, e-commerce, and sustainable consumer products. In 2021, he acquired his Master’s in Corporate Environmental Governance from the University of Hong Kong. Jack is currently a Sustainability Officer at ASB-Biodiesel, where he is contributing to the renewable energy industry.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

Promoting the ideology of “Achieving sustainability does not have to come at the expense of convenience”

Increasing public awareness in biofuel and encourage both public and private sector in adopting usage of biodiesel, especially in Hong Kong.

Natalie Chung

Sustainability Lead

Natalie serves as the Sustainability Lead at DFI Retail Group. As part of the founding team of sustainability practices, Natalie formulated the overarching sustainability and ESG framework for the leading pan-Asia retail group, covering brands such as Wellcome, Mannings, 7-Eleven, Guardian.

Natalie coordinated to publish the group’s first Sustainability and ESG Report, showcasing multi-faceted sustainability initiatives across different geographies and businesses. There is continuous engagement and progress tracking with business units across North and Southeast Asia to steer positive action towards serving our communities, sustaining the planet and sourcing responsibly.

Outside of the day job, Natalie is a co-founder of environmental education organisation V’air Hong Kong, and serves as a member at the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development, Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee, and Country and Marine Parks Board of the HKSAR Government.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

My sustainability goal for 2023-2024 is to gain a deeper understanding on TNFD and regenerative agriculture, how nature influences businesses and explore innovative solutions to create net positive biodiversity impact. A personal goal is to spend even more time in nature, in our scenic country, marine and geoparks!

Eddie Tse

Group Sustainability Manager

Eddie has more than 26 years experience in construction and environmental field and specializes in sediment and land contamination assessment and remediation, carbon/energy management, renewable energy projects and waste/asbestos management.

He is the vice chairman of Environment Committee, Hong Kong Construction Association and member of Climate Change Business Forum of the Business Environment Council. He was appointed as a construction advisor in development of Construction Industry Council Carbon Assessment Tool and Sustainable Finance Certification scheme.  He is also appointed by Hong Kong Green Building Council to be a co-opted member of the Sustainable Development Committee, Climate Change Framework for Built Environment Embodied Carbon Expert Group member and Green Product Market Taskforce member.  Eddie is a member of UK CARES Assured Steel Certification Sustainability Technical Committee.

Eddie graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Canada, and has a Master of Science (Major in Environmental Engineering) degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Eddie is a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals, Certified Carbon Auditor (Cement/Steel/Concrete) under the CIC Green Product Certification Scheme, Certified Energy Manager/Carbon Audit Professional of US Association of Energy Engineer and a Qualified Project Assessor of BREEAM Infrastructure.  He is also a qualified assessor of CIC Sustainable Finance Certification Scheme and a Certified ESG Analyst CESGA® of The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies

James H. W. Wong

James started his career as an environmental consultant in the early 90s before joining Chevron Hong Kong that operates the Caltex brand in 1992. In his years of experience with Chevron as a global integrated energy company, James works in multiple sales and operation roles across a variety of fuel sectors that power the entire transportation industry, from marine bunker for ships, aviation jet for airplanes, to now managing the land fuels and lubricants business for cars, meeting the daily energy needs of customers from retail to commercial & industrial segments in Hong Kong.

James is the Chairman & Director of Chevron HK and has been that for Caltex Taiwan Corp., a joint venture at Taipei Taoyuen airport, for 10 years. He served as a Director in AFSC fuel consortium at HK airport for 7 years and was elected as Fuel Suppliers Representative for 2 times. Most recently in Jun 2023, James stewarded the launch of the very first Caltex Offset-paired Diesel program for the HK construction industry. James got his MBA and BSc Chemistry degrees from Chinese University of HK and University of HK.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

I am committed to supplying customers with safe and reliable fuel products, while striving to explore different options and solutions to lower lifecycle carbon emissions in my business operations.

Thomas Wu

Director

Thomas Joined ASB Biodiesel in 2017 and has been a Chief Executive Officer since January 2018 and Director of the company since March 2022. Before joining ASB Biodiesel, Thomas worked in a domestic enterprise from 2002 in the oleachem industry as a trader of petro and other chemicals. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in this industry, and he holds a Master’s Degree in EMBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has rich experience in business management.
