Since the launch of LEED v5 on April 28th, many stakeholders have noted that the higher standards have made obtaining LEED certification—especially at the Platinum level—more challenging. Additionally, LEED v5 places a stronger emphasis on decarbonization, accounting for 50% of the credits. We encourage practitioners to share their insights on how innovative and advanced construction and property management technologies can help reduce carbon emissions and achieve LEED certification.
