Akhil Khurana

Akhil serves as Associate Director at the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices, an ecosystem entity of Temasek Trust. Previously, Akhil was with F. Hoffmann-La Roche in Switzerland, where he led strategic initiatives including within the CEO Office, focusing on emerging markets. Earlier in his career, Akhil’s diverse experience in social impact has taken him across the globe, from the US and UK to Kenya and India, encompassing areas including impact investing, development finance, and social entrepreneurship. Complementing his professional journey, Akhil completed his MBA at INSEAD in France.

Akhil was previously an Atlas Corps Fellow, a former social entrepreneur focused on bridging talent access gaps for impact startups in emerging markets, and a contributor to various publications such as the OECD Emerging Markets Network.

My Sustainability Goals for 2025:

1. Strengthening collaboration between regions to drive collective impact, particularly between Southeast Asia and key global markets
2. Facilitating joint programming and enhancing capital flow to high-impact projects that address critical sustainability challenges
