Benjamin’s research is centred on the Circular Economy and waste recycling in China and Hong Kong. With about 10 years in the field, he worked in domains of Chinese household waste recycling, informal waste management, e-waste and waste plastics. Outside of academia Benjamin provided consulting services to the GIZ Germany and Presans France.

My Sustainability Goals for 2022:

Government support for CE business models beyond recycling; general plastic packaging container tax; EPR system for all recyclable waste fractions; taxation of resources, not of labour
