Chinali Patel

Chinali Patel commenced International Illicit Finance Policy lead role at the British Consulate General in Hong Kong in April 2019 and prior to that was in UK Law Enforcement for 13 years.

The role has a specific focus on policy and strategy – enhancing diplomatic engagement, capability and capacity building in close coordination with HMG, local and international partners to tackle illicit finance.

Chinali also leads on Diversity and Inclusion at the British Consulate including community outreach, collaboration with partners on key initiatives to promote greater diversity and inclusiveness and sharing best practice and learning on various platforms. Chinali has also been a mentor to amazing cross sector mentees over the last 8 years.
