Emma Yu is an award-winning designer and a leader in social innovation. She has overseen the projects since the incorporation of Dress Green in 2021, managing all aspects of the projects from sales and partnership, design, upcycling process, to manpower management. She has more than 4 years of experience working with people with disability in the sheltered workshop and elderly garment worker.

Her achievement in leading the social enterprise has made her recognized as the listee of Forbes 30 under 30 in the social impact category this year. Dress Green is also awarded the Emerging Social Enterprise Award from Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES) this year. Apart from her leadership, her design capability is recognized by Hong Kong Design Centre, bringing Dress Green to be selected into the Design Incubation Program. The upcycled products she designed were awarded seven design awards across the region from 2022 to 2024, including the DFA Design for Asia Award, Singapore Good Desing Award, and Hong Kong Smart Design Award. Her achievement in social impact has been recognized and reported by over 20 times by different popular media such as Forbes, ViuTV, NowTV, HOY TV, RTHK, Sing Tao, HK01, AM730, Wenweipo, Metro Broadcast, Yahoo!, and 881903 etc.

She holds Master of Art in Bilingual Corporate Communication from PolyU and Professional Diploma in Graphic Communication from HKDI.
