Matt Roberts

Matt brings a unique blend of expertise in business development, relationship management and sales operations to the TPB team.

With a career spanning 10 years, Matthew has honed his skills across multiple sectors and geographies, combining his professional experience with a strong educational background in environmental science. His deep understanding of both the business and environmental fields positions him as a versatile and knowledgeable professional, capable of driving significant impact.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Bournemouth in the UK and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong as well as being an Accredited BEAM Affiliate and PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.

Furthermore, Matt is a voluntary director at The Tai Tam Tuk Foundation, a small environmental conservation NGO in Hong Kong and a member of the Hong Kong Marine Protection Alliance, a working policy group advocating to increase Marine Protected Areas in Hong Kong.

My Sustainability Goals for 2024:

1. An increased use of Nature-based solutions (NbS); such as urban reforestation.
2. Enchanted restoration of marine ecosystems and increase Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) to 30% of local waters.
3. More effective waste management and reduction to combat Hong Kong’s waste crisis.
