Paul Wong 黃昕然

黃先生在1999年加入特區政府政務職系。他曾於政制事務局、衞生福利局、旅遊事務署、香港駐柏林經濟貿易辦事處、商務及經濟發展局、財經事務及庫務局、環境局等工作。他在2020年12月起擔任深水埗民政事務專員，期間因統籌為長者及學童接種新冠疫苗的工作，獲頒行政長官公共服務獎狀。自上任後，他致力提倡以科技及數據分析處理民生「痛點」，希望可以提升居民幸福感，以及發展深水埗成為智慧社區。

Mr Wong joined the Administrative Service of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in 1999. He had held posts in the Constitutional Affairs Bureau, Health and Welfare Bureau, Tourism Commission, the Economic and Trade Office in Berlin, Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, Environment Bureau. He was appointed District Officer (Sham Shui Po) in December 2020. He was awarded the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Government/Public Service for his work in coordinating Covid-19 vaccination programmes for the elderly and pupils. Since taking up this position, he has been advocating using technology and data analytics to address community “pain points” to better the well-being of the locals and to develop Sham Shui Po into a smart district.
