Samantha Woods

Samantha Woods is Sustainability Director at Swire Coca-Cola, the fifth-largest bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company by global volume. She is responsible for shaping and overseeing the company’s sustainability strategy across Greater China, Southeast Asia and the United States, working with leaders across the business to embed sustainability into operations, planning and decision-making. Her responsibilities span strategy, governance, target-setting, performance management and stakeholder engagement across key priorities including climate, water, packaging and circularity.

Prior to joining Swire Coca-Cola, Samantha held sustainability leadership roles at John Swire & Sons (HK) Ltd. and ELEVATE, and co-founded a social enterprise focused on urban rooftop farming. She is passionate about demonstrating that sustainability can strengthen business performance, resilience and long-term value creation while delivering positive outcomes for people and the planet.

My Sustainability Goals for 2026:

1. Collaboration between government, industry and consumers to build a practical, trusted and scalable circular economy for packaging, ensuring that more materials are collected and recycled.

2. Greater public appreciation for nature, helping more people understand the value of Hong Kong’s biodiversity and the importance of protecting it for our wellbeing and resilience.
