Sharon Ng

Sharon is a Biological Science class of 2022 graduate from HKUST. She has always loved nature and her environmental awareness amplified when she took up the Environmental Science course where she gained knowledge about different types of environmental pollution which made her realise the severity of harm that Earth was facing. Therefore, she hopes to remedy it by cleaning up the waste that people has left behind, and to take a step further, transforming them into useful products.

My Sustainability Goals for 2022:

In 2020, only 28% of HK’s fuel mix for electricity generation was from renewables or nuclear. We need to speed up the transition from non-renewables to renewables in order to reduce pollution and most importantly, greenhouse gas emission which leads to global warming.
