Our sustainability goals for 2023:

At global level, IKEA has set the climate goals for 2030 and 2050 as our guiding principles:
(1) IKEA aims to becoming climate positive by reducing more greenhouse gas emissions than our value chain emits by 2030;
(2) IKEA aims to reach net zero for the entire value train by 2050.

At local level, IKEA Hong Kong, as part of DFI Retail Group, we have 3 Focus Areas as our guiding approaches:
(1) Serving communities: to reduce hunger, reduce cost of living, and raise self-esteem
(2) Sustaining the planet: to reduce plastic usage, reduce food waste, reduce energy use, and eliminate harmful refrigerants
