Our leading service is an employee-centric platform that gamifies the sustainability culture at the workplace. We collect and process waste-generation live data and display the information back to the employees to encourage analysis, learning, and engagement through a waste-reduction journey. In addition, Spare-it creates a competition to bring a fun way to measure your performance (in waste generation) against other similar office spaces. We can measure the amount of waste generated across workspaces in real-time using proprietary technology.
Then, we engage facility managers to direct their waste reduction efforts to specific opportunities. As a result, we have been able to achieve over 40% waste reduction, over 30% diversion rate, reduced recycled waste contamination, and significantly reduced operational costs by optimizing waste collection routines. Accompanying the proprietary technology, we provide an educational program targeting different topics and different goals throughout a year-long program. Our programs focus on engaging the employees to be more conscious about their everyday decisions and offer a set of simple tips that they can implement to impact the company they are working for positively.
Finally, we work alongside green teams to help them understand and follow their waste-related data to support their Sustainability Goals and Plans. Accompanying one of our customers, we have avoided over 45 tons of CO2 equivalent Green House Gases within six months.
