Dennis Wu

Mr. Dennis Wu combines more than a decade of leadership in sustainable development with nearly 30 years of experience in finance, offering a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective on advancing carbon neutrality. As the Founding President of the Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association (GBACNA), he leads efforts to bridge financial innovation and environmental strategy—fostering cross-sector collaboration, advancing carbon reduction solutions, promoting international exchange, and mobilizing investment in low-carbon technologies. His contributions are instrumental to the Greater Bay Area’s net-zero transition and underscore a strategic commitment to aligning financial innovation with sustainability goals.

Mr. Wu is also CEO and Executive Director of Allied Sustainability and Environmental Consultants Group Limited (AEC Group) and Founder & CEO of AEC Capital Group. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Green and Sustainable Private Equity Working Group (HKGFA), Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Private Equity Finance Association (HKPEFA), and is a member of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Working Group and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). His public service also includes advisory and committee roles with the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), Environmental and Sustainability Committee of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), co-opted member of Infrastructure Rating System Committee of Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies (CHKLC). Regionally, he contributes to Net Zero Readiness Framework development as WorldGBC Asia Pacific Net Zero Collaborator, helping shape scalable climate solutions across Asia.
