Mr. John Fiorino, based out of Malaga, Spain, heads the technical/R&D and the international departments within Krystaline Technology S.A. John is currently overseeing the development of various eco related solutions utilizing a unique approach focused on concrete’s own natural hydration abilities to provided increased durability, strength, and to self healing. These benefits allow for an improved concrete life span beyond concrete’s normal abilities while completely eliminating the need for environmentally unfriendly membrane systems. The sustainability benefits alone will result in a reduction in the carbon footprint.

Caroline Cheng

Yi Design (Hong Kong) Company Limited

CEO

Caroline Cheng is the co-founder of award-winning Yi Design and is dedicated to finding a circular solution for ceramic waste.

She is an artist and curator who has promoted Chinese ceramic arts for decades, earning renown in China and worldwide. Her work is included in the collections of the British Museum, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, etc.

Cheng received the “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the American National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) in 2014 and the Japan Good Design Award for Community Development in 2020.

Caroline Cheng is also the owner of the world-renowned Pottery Workshop in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Jingdezhen

My Sustainability Goals for 2025:

  1. Cut down household and transportation carbon emissions by 20% in 2025.
  2. Zero waste in households, eliminate 50% plastic products and packaging. Compost organic waste for fertilizing the farmland in Hong Kong.
  3. Use recycled products rather than mining raw materials for new products.
  4. Research alternative solutions to use clean technology materials rather than cement.
