“SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme” will assess the overall improvement in sustainability performance of SMEs. Recognition certificates and exclusive rewards from Dah Sing Bank will be awarded to the SMEs who have attained a certain level of Environmental (E), Social (S), Governance (G) best practices.
To encourage SMEs to adopt ESG best practices, participating companies will be given no more than six months to implement the necessary changes in response to the guidelines in the assessment. If a certain level of improvement has been achieved in the designation period, recognition will be given to those companies with the highest commitment to acknowledge their contribution and dedication.
Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements in order to participate in the SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme:
- Has started business in Hong Kong no later than 1 January 2021. Applicants must submit a valid (at the time of application) Business Registration Certificate upon application.
- For the Property and Construction sector, an enterprise should have no more than 50 employees in Hong Kong
Application Quota
100 SMEs will be accepted per sector. Applications will be closed once the maximum number is reached.
