Data and Technology/Climate – Navigate Climate Risk: Insurance Solutions for Climate Adaptation & Resilience

Angel is the Senior Vice President (Sustainability) for Financial Services and Fintech at InvestHK. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in promoting Hong Kong’s position as a leading green finance hub. Angel is dedicated to attracting and supporting corporates in the landscape of sustainable finance, addressing climate risk, and facilitating the industry’s management of climate-related financial risks. She is also keen on enabling the adoption of green solutions within business operations.

With a strong commitment to driving the green finance and green fintech ecosystem, Angel fosters cross-sector collaborations that empower diverse partnerships between corporates and sustainability management.

Prior to joining InvestHK, Angel served as a Relationship Manager in the Japanese Corporations Business Division and as an Assistant Vice President of the Advisory Team at MUFG Bank. Her extensive experience in the financial sector has equipped her with valuable insights into integrating sustainability into business practices.

Angel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Hong Kong and is a holder of the CESGA (Certified ESG Analyst) and CFA ESG designations.

Peggy Kwok is Senior Vice-President (Fintech) of Invest Hong Kong, an inward investment promotion agency of the Hong Kong SAR Government. She is responsible for supporting international fintech companies to set up and expand operations in Hong Kong and promoting the fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong. Within InvestHK, she held previous roles in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and startup teams.

Peggy holds an MBA jointly awarded by the University of Hong Kong and London Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong with minor in French language. She is also a certified EFFAS ESG Analyst.

Prior to joining InvestHK, Peggy worked in Business Banking of HSBC and was a Trade Advisor at French Trade Commission (now known as Business France) of the French Consulate in Hong Kong.

Ken Yuen is a Climate Change and Sustainability Risk Consultant at Zurich Resilience Solutions, the risk consulting arm of Zurich Insurance Group. In this role, he supports organizations across sectors in building climate resilience, leveraging Zurich’s proprietary data, tools and expertise throughout the APAC region. Ken’s work includes scenario-based analysis, risk quantification, as well as resilience planning and tailored recommendations.

Prior to joining Zurich, Ken contributed to a wide range of sustainability and risk consulting projects across Asian countries, with a focus on sustainability disclosure, carbon accounting, strategic planning, and risk management.

Ken holds a BSc in Environmental Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Master’s Degree in Sustainability Leadership and Governance from The University of Hong Kong. He is also an EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®) and holds a Certificate in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
