Wing-chiu Lam

Lam Wing Chiu is the Head of Terminal Development of Modern Terminals Limited. He has over 30 years of experience in the container port business having handled various projects in operation improvement and port development in both Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Recently, he has been involved in container terminal equipment and facilities upgrade, M&A, and process improvement projects. He is also responsible for the environmental management system and decarbonisation projects at Modern Terminals.  Mr Lam has been appointed by the Government of Hong Kong SAR as a member of the Pilotage Advisory Committee of Marine Department since 2021, and has been a part-time lecturer in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2015.

He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from University of New South Wales, Australia and Executive MBA from City University of Hong Kong.

He is a member of the BEC Sustainable Living Environment Advisory Group for 2023-2025.
