Free Periods Hong Kong is a nonprofit advancing sustainable development through addressing period poverty. We empower underserved communities including migrant workers, ethnically diverse groups and persons with disabilities by providing menstrual education, improving health literacy and advocating equitable menstrual care. Our work fosters social inclusion, gender equity and wellbeing in HK.
Our sustainability goals for 2025:
- Address period poverty holistically through inclusive menstrual education, community engagement, and resource mobilisation.
- Build cross-sector partnerships to expand access to menstrual products and resources.
- Develop culturally-responsive programmes tailored to marginalised communities experiencing period poverty.
