My sustainability goals are to inspire and equip the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and determination to make sustainable choices and become leaders on fostering a more sustainable future. In addition to my commitment in business case writing about sustainability, innovation and climate change, I hope I can engage in more collaborative efforts with organizations and academics for sharing knowledge and best practices in sustainability.

Bon Cheung is an Assistant Manager of Civic Exchange, focusing on green and sustainable finance market development. He has obtained several professional designations, such as the SCR Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and Green and Sustainable Finance Professional™ from the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI). Moreover, Bon has engaged and published plenty of impactful academic research on green finance development in GBA. Apart from academic development, He has also been invited to be panellist and guest lecturer for talks and lectures in Master level courses related to green and sustainable finance. With these achievements, he was recognised and nominated as one of the representatives of the HKUST to compete for the Oxford Green Finance Prize 2023.

Wendy is an experienced leader in HR transformation and Employee Experience, and leverages her strength in the areas of Strategic Planning and Change Management with a demonstrated history working in aviation, retail, and various other industries.
She has a wealth of firsthand experience understanding the functions of people and organisation, all of which she accumulated during her time spent in Operations Management, Human Resources, Logistics, Business Development, Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management.
In her role as General Manager Employee Experience at Cathay, Wendy oversees the design of vision, philosophies, strategies and plans to create a signature employee experience in pursuit of business outcomes. She looks after all functions under Cathay’s People Department’s Centres of Excellence; namely Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications & Engagement, Employee Experience Design, Insights a& Governance, HR Business Partnering, as well as Diversity & Inclusion.
Under her leadership, Cathay has seen a successful introduction of numerous initiatives that include Total Rewards approach for all employees, modernising Cathay’s staff travel benefits, a company-wide holistic wellbeing programme, digital employee experience programme among many more.

Bosco Leung currently holds the position of Social Responsibility Lead at MTR. He commenced his career at the company as a management trainee, bringing with him over 15 years of experience acquired in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the UK. Bosco gained widespread recognition for his contribution in launching the MTR Mobile app series, which received over 20 regional and local awards during the early stages of his professional journey.
Bosco has been at the forefront of various corporate innovation initiatives within the Corporate Strategy and Global Innovation departments. His remarkable accomplishments include pioneering collaborations such as the #propUP corporate accelerator program, internal startup weekends, global innovation exchanges for overseas hubs, and the development of MTR’s first internal startup named “Doughnut Bus.”
Bosco actively supports the community by serving as a mentor and judge in programs like SIE fund, Jumpstarter’s IdeaPOP!, JA Company Program, and the DBS Foundation Social Enterprise Capacity Building Program. He has been invited as a speaker to events such as Service Design Hong Kong, “StartmeupHK” festival, Alibaba Entrepreneurship Fund’s “Jumpstarter”, and the Hong Kong Design Center’s “Unleash” Design thinking Forum.
Since joining the ESG team in 2022, Bosco has focused on driving multiple social programs and sponsorships while shaping MTR’s social priorities. He has spearheaded various new initiatives, including MTR’s inaugural Social Inclusion Week, the ESG Project Allies Programme in collaboration with NGOs and Social Enterprises to drive impact, the Gender Equity Network and Male Allies Program, the “EmpowerZ” traineeship pilot scheme for ethnic minorities and people with disabilities, ‘Train’ for Life’s Journey 2.0 with Social Innovation Challenge, and the establishment and management of MTR’s Internal ESG Fund.

2. To foster a collaborative community where individuals from diverse sectors can join forces and collectively drive positive changes together.
3. To explore programs that address both social and environmental impacts simultaneously.

With activities like training workshops, talks, and real-world projects, BESGO helps deepen students’ understanding of social needs and sustainability issues. By connecting educators, business professionals, social innovators, and future change-makers, BESGO fosters collaboration and creates shared value towards building a better future for all.

BESGO has organized various activities to promote social innovation, social good, and sustainable practices. In the past, we have designed and produced teaching and learning materials, conducted seminars and workshops, and facilitated visits to community and social enterprises. We also published feature articles and teaching cases, and presented at local and international conferences. These initiatives aim to raise awareness, deepen understanding, and provide opportunities for students to create real impact and foster collaboration for a better future.
