Simeon Cheng is the Group Director – Sustainability of Vitasoy International Holdings Limited. He is a sustainability professional with 30 years of experience leading the development of sustainability strategies and overseeing implementation in consultancy and corporate environments.
Before joining Vitasoy, he served in environmental and sustainability leadership roles at the MTR Corporation and CLP Holdings Limited. He has also served in many external roles including being a board member on GRI’s Global Sustainability Standards Board between 2015/2016.
Simeon holds a Fellowship in Chemical Engineering with the Institution of Chemical Engineers, UK, a Fellowship with the Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Impact Assessment, a member of HKIQEP, and holds degrees in business administration and law.

Emma Zhou is an experienced business operations professional with a strong focus on sustainability. She manages projects in supply chain decarbonization, waste charging, recycling, blue economy development, and sustainable operations. Combining global vision with local execution, she forges strategic partnerships across academia, industry, and government to advance sustainable development. She holds both the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and the Registered Lean Sigma Black Belt certifications.

Ms. Chan serves as the Chairlady of the Activities & Events Committee for the Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong, where she promotes professionalism within the purchasing and supply chain sectors by organizing the sharing of experiences and best practices. With over a decade of experience in strategic procurement, she has made significant contributions during her tenure at CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. Notably, she successfully spearheaded the implementation of a sustainable procurement policy and developed a comprehensive supply chain sustainability program, engaging both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Before her role at CLP, Ms. Chan held a key position at ExxonMobil Hong Kong Limited, where she led procurement operations across the Asia Pacific region for the fuels and lubricants markets. Under her leadership, the team effectively developed and executed cross-regional sourcing strategies, consolidating procurement activities in low-cost countries, which resulted in enhanced operational efficiencies.

With a career spanning over two decades in purchasing and procurement, including 9 years in hospitality sector, Kirk works as the Head of Group Purchasing for the Regal Hotels. He is a co-opt. member of Institute of Purchasing and Supply of Hong Kong.

Kirk specializes in developing strategic sourcing initiatives that emphasize sustainability, transparency, and ethical sourcing practices. His expertise includes supplier risk assessment, compliance management, and implementing code of conduct frameworks.

Kirk has contributed on integrating ethics into procurement strategies, balancing cost-efficiency with ethical integrity. He is committed to promoting integrity and accountability in all procurement activities, ensuring that ethical considerations are at the forefront of decision-making processes.

Alexandra is the Senior Director – Manufacturer Membership at Cascale. She is responsible for all aspects of Cascale’s manufacturer member engagement and impact. This includes supporting, servicing, and optimizing the manufacturers membership experience.

Michael Tung is a highly accomplished professional with a remarkable track record of success in finance, supply chain management, and logistics. Michael has held senior positions at several renowned multinational companies before joining SF Supply Chain as the Managing Director for Hong Kong & Macau. He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a degree in accounting, a master’s degree in laws, and a postgraduate certificate in eCommerce and Supply Chain Management from the University of Hong Kong. Michael is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FCPA). He is also well-versed in supply chain process improvement, solution design, and digitalization. Michael’s most recent accomplishment is leading the project that established the first fully automated logistics center in the Hong Kong Advanced Manufacturing Center in the Tseung Kwan O Inno Park, a benchmark in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2025, Hong Kong is steering toward a more sustainable and resilient future by advancing three key pillars of environmental transformation.

1. Electrifying Cargo Logistics for a Greener Supply Chain
To decarbonize cargo movement, the city is accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the logistics sector. This includes incentivizing logistics operators to transition to electric trucks, expanding charging infrastructure at industrial hubs. These efforts aim to reduce transport-related emissions while modernizing the cargo fleet for long-term sustainability.

2. Empowering Communities Through Circular Waste Practices
Hong Kong is promoting community recycling by establishing standardized collection points in public spaces—such as MTR stations, logistics warehouses, and offices. These points will be supported by clear signage and smart sorting systems. Manufacturers will also be encouraged to include recycling instructions on product labels, empowering consumers to participate in waste reduction and circular economy efforts.

3. Advancing Scope 3 Emissions Transparency in Business
To align with global ESG standards, Hong Kong is enhancing climate-related disclosures for listed companies. Businesses are expected to improve transparency around Scope 3 emissions—those generated across their value chains. This includes engaging suppliers, tracking indirect emissions, and adopting standardized reporting tools. The goal is to embed sustainability into corporate governance and drive systemic change across industries.

Prof. Waiman Cheung is a Professor of the Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology and Associate Dean (Graduate Studies) in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. Currently, he is also the Executive Director of The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business, Director of Asian Institute of Supply Chains & Logistics, Director of Studies in Graduate Studies in Business and Head, Graduate Division of Business Administration. Prof. Cheung holds an MBA and a PhD in Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His research interests are mainly in aviation, logistics, supply chain management and information technology.

Prior to joining The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prof. Cheung had worked as a technical staff for Oracle Systems in the US. He is very keen on working closely with local industries for knowledge transfer and has conducted studies and consulting works for DHL, Airport Authority Hong Kong, Dragonair, Accenture, Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd., SML Group Ltd., and the Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong. His research interests are mainly in applying IT on logistics and supply chain management.

1. Enhancing Circular Economy Practices – to push for greater waste reduction, recycling infrastructure improvements, and sustainable packaging adoption across retail and food industries. A shift toward a circular economy model would significantly reduce environmental impact and create new business opportunities.

2. Advancing ESG Reporting and Governance – to strengthen transparency and accountability by advocating for standardised, impactful ESG disclosures. Hong Kong’s financial and business sectors can lead by example in setting robust governance frameworks and ensuring sustainability metrics drive real change.

A seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience, Mr. Alfred Chong specializes in concept implementation, business development, and management across various industries, including trade finance, commodities trading, marine insurance, and logistics. Currently, he serves as General Manager at Transnational Logistics Solution Ltd, where he oversees the entire business portfolio in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, managing a team of over 200.

Alfred has also chaired the Environment and Regulations Working Committee of the World Electronic Circuits Council (WECC) from 2012 to 2014, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.

With multiple professional qualifications in Marketing, Insurance, and Finance, his leadership and management skills have consistently driven business growth and operational excellence in multicultural environments.
