The Chamber is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help its members connect with customers and other businesses in Hong Kong and with Spain. The SCC purpose is the representation, promotion and defense of the general interests of Spanish companies.

Beginning as the Spanish Business Association, it transformed into the official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 1992. For 30 years, the Chamber has been the meeting point for Spain and Hong Kong to facilitate business and cross-cultural exchanges.

Our sustainability goals for 2025:

1. Waste Reduction: Implement a zero-waste policy for Chamber events and offices (reduce, reuse, recycle).
2. Sustainable Event Management: Ensure all Chamber-hosted events follow green guidelines (e.g., digital materials, eco-friendly catering, minimal single-use plastics).
3. Renewable Energy Transition: Encourage member businesses to switch to 100% renewable energy sources.
4. Circular Economy Promotion: Encourage businesses to adopt circular economy principles (reduce waste, reuse materials).
5. Sustainable Supply Chains: Provide resources for local businesses to adopt ethical and eco-friendly supply chains.
6. Green Financing & Grants: Partner with financial institutions to offer sustainability grants or low-interest loans for green initiatives.
