Christian Family Service Centre (CFSC) is a social service agency in Hong Kong dedicated to supporting and promoting family functions. Since its establishment in 1954, it has provided various types of services to residents in the East Kowloon area. Over the years, the Agency’s work gradually extended and it has now developed into a multi-service agency, with the mission to support and enhance family functioning and to foster an environment for growth and change. We provide multi-services including: Children & Family Services, Youth & Education Services, Elderly Care Services, Services for People with Disabilities, Mental Health Services, Active Ageing Services, Primary Health Care Services, Opportunities & Inclusion for People with Disabilities, Environmental Protection & Green Living, Community Development Services, Employee Service Consultancy.

Rooted in East Kowloon for over 70 years, the Agency began its environmental work in 2010. In recent years, it has expanded its services to focus on sustainable development, establishing “Environmental and Green Living” as one of its core services. This includes the creation of “Urban Oasis” to promote urban farming, as well as actively advocating for waste reduction at the source. Initiatives include operating the Environmental Protection Department’s “Green@Community”, implementing waste reduction education programs in primary and secondary schools, public housing estates, and private estates, and introducing mobile recycling vehicles in the community to encourage waste reduction and support local recycling efforts.

The Christian Family Service Centre (CFSC) is committed to promoting environmental protection and sustainable development in the community. It aims to enhance public awareness and behaviour in protecting the environment, reduce the amount of municipal solid waste, promote community greening, and improve city livability. Through providing recycling services, organising environmental education activities, promoting urban farming, and discussing environmental issues, CFSC works closely with local stakeholders and the government to contribute to sustainable development.
