Michelle Chan is currently a Senior Manager in Sustainable Finance & Transition of Corporate and Institutional Banking at HSBC in Hong Kong.

In her current role as Senior Manager in Sustainable Finance & Transition, Michelle supports corporate and institutional clients across sectors and geographies to access sustainable finance solutions. She also leads sustainability strategy and business development initiatives for the Greater Bay Area, helping clients navigate the transition to net zero and identify opportunities that can support credible transition plans. She regularly shares market trends and insights with external stakeholders and industry associations to deepen sustainability engagement.

With over 10 years of experience spanning sustainable finance, risk and compliance, and transaction advisory, Michelle has worked across banking and professional services, including regional roles at HSBC and EY. Michelle holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University.
