HKMU Biodiversity Innovation Forum 2024 – Empowering Startups to Restore Our Aquatic Ecosystem

The Biodiversity Innovation Forum 2024, aims to foster collaboration between startups and corporates to drive innovation addressing biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation in oceans and other aquatic environments. This event offers a unique platform for engaging with experts, learning from their experiences, and contributing to marine conservation discussions.

The forum will feature Mr. Harry Chan Tin Ming, MH, the Ghost Net Hunter and Marine Conservation Ambassador of the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong, as the keynote speaker. His insights into marine conservation efforts are highly anticipated. Additionally, the event will host a panel of distinguished guest speakers, including Dr. Juan Carlos Astudillo, a Marine Ecologist and Assistant Professor at HKMU; Ms. Iris Lo, an Aquarist at Ocean Park Hong Kong; Ms. Samyuktha Sriram, Head of Business Development at Clearbot; and Ms. Mostafa Monira Firdouse, a Development Impact Measurement Consultant.
