The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups fosters sustainable development by advancing organisational decarbonisation and empowering youth-led green initiatives. As the first local youth organisation to publish an in-house sustainability report referencing international standards, we aim to drive positive, lasting change for Hong Kong’s future.

Our sustainability goals for 2026:

1. People: The HKFYG employs over 1000 regular staff dedicated to delivering diverse youth services. We prioritise our colleagues’ growth and wellbeing, fostering a caring, equitable and inclusive workplace that encourages active participation in youth development and sustainable practices.
2. Planet: We engage youth in decarbonisation through education, action, and leadership, and implement green measures in our operations to fulfill our environmental responsibilities. We are committed to continuously improving our environmental management, collaborating with all sectors of society to address climate challenges, and building a more sustainable community.
3. Prosperity: We believe that youth are a vital force for driving social innovation and prosperity. The Federation fosters their active involvement in community, building through diverse collaborations and pioneering programmes, collectively realising the vision of sustainable cities and communities.
