Mr Jude Chow is the Founder and CEO of AEL (International Holdings) Limited. Early in his career in Australia, he gained extensive experience in large-scale construction, airport engineering, and environmental engineering projects. He later assumed a regional leadership role at a German technology firm, overseeing projects across 13 Asia-Pacific countries.
Since joining AEL, Mr Chow has spearheaded the company’s sustainable growth through product innovation and expansion into new international markets, including countries along the Belt and Road Initiative. He is currently collaborating with partners, local research institutes, and universities to develop waste-to-energy solutions tailored for the Asian market.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr Chow is committed to giving back to the community. He actively participates in voluntary initiatives and serves as a mentor at the City University of Hong Kong’s School of Energy and Environment. He also plays a key role in promoting sustainability by representing the industry in dialogues with government bodies and international counterparts.
My Sustainability Goals for 2025:
Mr Chow aims to promote and advocate sustainable practices among Hong Kong’s SMEs by encouraging the adoption of circular economy principles. His goal is to help businesses reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and incorporate sustainability into their business model.
Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960 to promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong’s industrial and business communities. Representing manufacturing and associated businesses from 33 industry groups, FHKI brings together like-minded entrepreneurs to spearhead the advancement of Hong Kong’s industry.
Our organisation’s sustainability goals for 2025
The ESG Committee was established in November 2021 with the aims to strengthen participation of the industry in achieving Hong Kong’s target in reaching carbon neutrality by 2050 and support industrial members in putting ESG in practice through capacity building, knowledge exchange and cultivating industrial ESG talents.
