Raymond is the Technical Director and co-founder of Radiant Solar, a company specializing in the development and financing of solar PV projects in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. He also serves as a committee member on the Hong Kong Government’s Energy Advisory Committee (EnAC). A chartered mechanical engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Raymond brings extensive experience in renewable energy. Before founding Radiant Solar, he worked as a renewable energy expert at Arup Hong Kong and for a UK-based solar developer, contributing to several high-profile projects across the Asia-Pacific region. Raymond holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy from Imperial College London. His passion lies in decarbonizing the power sector and fostering a more sustainable future through collaboration among professionals in the industry.

My sustainability goals for 2024:

Faster power grid decarbonization is one of the most important steps towards making HK as a sustainable city. For sustainable transport, the EVs penetration is expected to grow and it will need support on establishing more charging faculties. Also, we need to prepare for hydrogen infrastructure.
