Tim Lo

Tim is a practicing town planner, surveyor and project director with extensive experience in planning, engineering and managing smart city and digital infrastructures to drive social and environmental goals. As the Head of Business & System Development at BEAM Society Limited, a green building assessment authority based in Hong Kong, Tim spearheaded the development of iBEAM Assessment Automation System and the iBEAM Unison plugin, aiming to harmonize the environmental and social sustainability data in building information modeling and providing a one-stop digital solution for green building professionals to analyze the green performances of their properties in a digital environment. Additionally, Tim has directed the development of BEAM Plus portfolio assessment scheme. The scheme enables asset managers to better evaluate the green management and energy usage of their existing building portfolios. By understanding the management merits and energy usage, asset managers could introduce green measures to improve the environmental and social performances of their existing buildings.
