More than 150 participants – from business, non-profit, social entrepreneurs, startups and academia – joined the full-day event with the main ambition: drive change within their company, organisation and personal life. CREATIVE COLLISION is unconventionally designed to nurture collaboration and collective action, and lead to exponential impact.
First, Veronica Chou, Founder & CEO of Everybody & Everyone, President of Novel Fashion Investments, inspired the audience with the story of her inclusive and sustainable fashion brand. The signature event, Impact Auction turned the spotlight on 5 bold impact venture founders. From edible cutlery to circular construction material, sustainable sneakers to mental health app, and attendees chose the startup they wanted to support with one hour of their time, for mentoring, partnering, or funding.
The afternoon tracks allowed everyone to dive deeper into experiences and workshops. Candid Café set brave conversations around 6 hot topics from Youth & Family Challenges to Widening Equalities between diversely mixed participants. During the Exec Labs, participants helped Fung Group, HSBC and Accenture’s executives crack their problems related to Sustainable Development Goals. At the CSV Showcase, JEB Group and AXA Hong Kong & Macau walked the attendees through HOW to align profit and purpose, from the opportunity to tracking impact outcomes. The last group of attendees followed Kaifong Tour guides and immersed themselves in Lai Chi Kok’s morphing social fabric. InnoAge Hub, Dialogue Experience and Dream Impact opened their doors to the CREATIVE COLLISION public for exclusive site visits and experiences. After the day, changemakers left reenergised and equipped with practical tools and unexpected connections.
