Dr. Toa Charm

Dr. Toa Charm is a prominent leader in Asia’s innovation and tech scene, with over 30 years of experience driving AI, data literacy, corporate innovation, digital transformation, and startup development. He is the Founding Chairman of the Data and AI Literacy Association, Associate Professor at CUHK Business School, and an independent non-executive director at TransUnion. Formerly Cyberport’s Chief Public Mission Officer, he helped build a global tech ecosystem supporting over 1,000 startups from tens of countries, including several unicorns. Dr. Charm has held senior roles at IBM, Oracle, HSBC, Jardine and Kingdee, authored Digital Power Up, and writes a tech column for Hong Kong Economic Journal. His contributions have been recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award from CityU Business School (2019) and the Outstanding Doctor of Business Administration Award (2018).

湛家揚博士是亞洲創新科技界的領軍人物，擁有逾三十年業界經驗，專注推動人工智能與數據素養、數碼轉型、企業創新及初創培育。他是「數據及人工智能素養協會」創會主席，現任香港中文大學商學院副教授，並擔任多間初創企業及機構的顧問，以及環聯（TransUnion）獨立非執行董事。曾任數碼港首席公眾使命官，成功打造全球領先的創科生態圈，培育超過一千間來自數十個國家的初創企業，包括多家獨角獸公司。湛博士曾於IBM、Oracle、怡和、匯豐及金蝶等知名跨國及中國企業擔任高層，著有《數碼力大提升》，並於《信報》撰寫創科專欄，致力推動社會掌握科技趨勢。其卓越貢獻獲香港城市大學頒發「商學院傑出校友獎」及「傑出工商管理博士獎」。
