Hugh Brennand

Hugh is currently the Managing Director of Inhabit and Egis, covering the Buildings sector in Asia. He is a member of the Asia Executive Committee and a Partner at Egis. As a founding partner of Inhabit, Hugh was a key stakeholder in the setup, development, and growth of Inhabit from a start-up to a global business.

Having been based in Hong Kong for the past 30 years, Hugh has an in-depth knowledge of the local and international markets, cultures, and practices throughout Asia. During his tenure as Deputy CEO at Inhabit, Hugh had oversight over the business in the UK, Middle East, Asia, and Australasia.

With a degree in mechanical engineering, director qualifications, and 20 years of experience in building design and engineering, Hugh brings technical, management, and leadership skills to the team.

He has worked with some of the world’s leading architects, engineers, developers, and contractors on projects of all scales and complexities and actively contributes to ongoing projects.
