Prof. Dan Wang

Dan Wang is a Professor of Division of Environment and Sustainability, Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. His research interests include computing for sustainability and sustainable computing. He is an executive member of ACM SIGEnergy. He was the Steering Committee chair of ACM eEnergy, a General co-Chair of ACM eEnergy 2022, a TPC co-Chair of ACM eEnergy 2020, TPC co-Chair of ACM Buildsys 2024. He won multiple Best Papers in ACM eEnergy and Buildsys. His research has been widely adopted in industry and government, such as Huawei, IBM, the EMSD of HKSAR, etc. He is a Distinguished Scientist of the ACM.
