CarbonCare InnoLab
CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) is a Section 88 registered NGO, with a mission to encourage collaborative actions and innovative solutions to combat climate change, focusing on climate justice, carbon reduction, resource conservation and resilience building. CCIL acts as a catalyst for climate actions through impactful community projects, training, education, research and advocacy.
Our sustainability goals for 2024:
- Reduce carbon emissions by expanding the supply of solar energy in the energy grid leveraging Feed-in Tariff Scheme.
- Increase awareness of climate justice throughout Hong Kong.
- Empower young individuals to engage with local and global climate change agendas in alignment with the UNFCCC Paris Agreement.
- Support vulnerable communities in enhancing climate resilience and disaster response capabilities.
- Monitor Hong Kong’s performance in transitioning towards mitigation and adaptation measures via Paris Watch.
