Hong Kong is evolving from a destination for international investment into a two-way platform for sustainable business growth. Through its international connectivity, financial markets, professional-services ecosystem and global network, Hong Kong can help Mainland and GBA companies scale clean technologies across energy, mobility, and infrastructure overseas, while enabling international companies, investors and technology providers to enter the GBA and wider Asian markets.
This session explores how Hong Kong can move beyond its traditional “super-connector” role to enable the cross-border scaling of green technologies, linking innovation, capital, and markets across the Asia-Pacific region.

RelyEZ Energy Storage Technology
Co-founder and CEO
Naomi Zhang is the Co-Founder and CEO of RelyEZ Energy Storage Technology, a global battery energy storage system (BESS) technology and solutions provider committed to accelerating the transition toward a cleaner, more resilient and intelligent energy system.
Under Naomi’s leadership, RelyEZ has expanded its presence across major international energy markets, with projects and operations spanning Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa. The company integrates energy storage technology, system design and delivery, digital energy management and lifecycle services, supporting utilities, developers and energy investors in deploying increasingly complex large-scale energy storage infrastructure.
Naomi brings a multidisciplinary background spanning renewable energy, investment banking and international business. Prior to founding RelyEZ, she worked in the renewable energy sector at DuPont and subsequently held senior positions in investment banking. This combination of industrial and financial experience has shaped her approach to the energy transition: clean-energy technologies must not only be technically innovative, but also bankable, scalable and commercially sustainable.
She is particularly focused on the convergence of energy storage, artificial intelligence and global energy markets, and on how digitalisation and advanced algorithms can transform energy storage from physical infrastructure into an intelligent, actively managed energy asset.
Based in the Greater Bay Area and working extensively across international markets, Naomi is also an advocate for Hong Kong’s role as a bridge connecting China’s green technology innovation with global capital, talent and markets.
My Sustainability Goals for 2026:
In 2026, my sustainability goal is to help accelerate the transition from simply deploying renewable energy to building intelligent, flexible and investable energy systems.
Through RelyEZ, I am focused on three priorities: expanding large-scale energy storage deployment across global markets; using AI and digital technologies to improve the efficiency, flexibility and economic value of energy assets; and developing commercially sustainable business models that can attract long-term institutional capital into the energy transition.
Beyond our own business growth, I hope to contribute to a stronger global ecosystem connecting green technology, responsible capital and international collaboration. In particular, I believe Hong Kong can play an important role in connecting China’s rapidly evolving clean-energy technologies with global investors, talent and markets.
Ultimately, our goal is not simply to deliver more battery capacity, but to enable a more resilient, efficient and sustainable global energy system.
