Beyond Vision International (BVI) believes that access to visual information in arts, culture, and education is a fundamental human right. We aim to enhance the quality of life of the visually impaired (VI) through innovative tools, training, and empowering experiences. Our key activities include accessibility consultation services, public engagement and education, and empowering the VI community.

Our organisation’s sustainability goals for 2025:

BVI’s commitment to making visual information a fundamental human right aligns with the SDG 17 vision, contributing to a global movement that seeks to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their abilities, can participate fully in society.

1. We provide accessibility consultations to promote inclusion services and solutions in museums, art and heritage institutions, and other organizations.

2. We curate multisensory tours and workshops that enhance VI’s understanding of the environment, while offering the public alternative non-visual experiences to promote social inclusion.

3. We empower VI individuals by training them to lead workshops and guided tours, fostering community engagement and awareness.
