As a technology leader across industry, infrastructure, mobility, and healthcare, Siemens remains steadfast in its purpose: create technology to transform the everyday, for everyone. With its DEGREE framework, Siemens is driving sustainability through ambitious 2030 goals in Decarbonization, Ethics, Governance, Resource efficiency, Equity and Employability.

Since 2019, Siemens has cut its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60%, exceeding its 2025 target, and aims for a 90% reduction by 2030 with a €650 million investment in decarbonization. But decarbonization isn’t a journey alone, Siemens is working with 67,500 suppliers to achieve a 20% reduction in Scope 3 emissions, supported by tools like the SiGREEN software.

Beyond decarbonization, Siemens promotes resource efficiency by expanding its Robust Eco Design approach to 54% and launching Siemens EcoTech Profiles. These efforts extend beyond hardware to include software and services, broadening the company’s sustainability impact.

On the people front, Siemens improved its LTIFR by 19% since 2020, extended Employee Assistance Program coverage to 99%, and surpassed its “25 by 25” learning goal with €442 million invested in education and lifelong learning initiatives that engaged over 261,000 employees.
