Felix Chung

Felix Chung is co‑founder and Director of EcoSage, a circular economy firm established in 2005 with operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai. EcoSage is one of the few Hong Kong‑based companies certified to apply internationally recognized safe recycling methods for fashion, commercial, and industrial products and equipment. The company provides closed‑loop solutions for ready‑to‑wear items, IP protection, and data destruction services across the Asia‑Pacific, serving over 500 commercial clients including Fortune 500 companies.

Felix is a Registered Carbon Credit Trader and a member of the first cohort of the Youth Business Hong Kong (YBHK) programme. He holds two Master’s degrees: Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, and Electronic and Information Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

My Sustainability Goals for 2026:

From 2026 to 2027, Felix will drive EcoSage’s circular model to deliver end‑to‑end solutions for fashion industry e.g. ready‑to‑wear products—from material sourcing to product and application transformation. He advocates for elevating Hong Kong’s recycling standards toward a truly circular system, supported by greater adoption of AI and robotics to move beyond basic waste collection toward resource design, recovery, and reuse.
